Well, imagine the results if you take away the 80-20 penalty. Now, many players, like you and me, are still having difficulties beating certain illegals with the penalty. So it would seem obvious that due to the fact we're dealing with algorithms and game mechanics, that certain wacky formations exploit these, and thus become overpowered. I think people tend to get blindsided by the 80-20 possesion. It's just a penalty and in no way representative for the real balance of power on the pitch.

Also if you really want to lose, a formation that includes defense isnt the way to go, I would think something wackier would be better.

You are almost certainly at the top of your server with a TL like that, I can see why you want to tank.

I have had the disconnect happen on the phone, but never on the computer, I figured it was because my G's were weak.

I have taken a break from this game since before xmas but began playing casually again this season. ( im level 13) But doing ok (6th in table) but made the decision last night to tank the rest of the season purely due to the complete lack of activity in my transfer market. most times when I look on there my entire transfer list consists of about 8 players who are all usually 30+.

and selling a player is ridiculously difficult. it takes about 3 days to sell a player (relisting them continually after bidding ends and slashing asking price to rock bottom...
this isn't old players either or rubbish ones. I literally couldn't give away a 5* DC with aerial defender ablity. 22 years old.

so today I set up an illegal formation. sent my team out after an intense training session so there condition was about 40% and this happens......

Oh and what has happened to booster videos while I've been away?? stingy or what. haven't had one for 4 days now.

booster`s have like this since they bought in the xmas prezzie where you logged in dailly to get a pack/packs which were not great and when that was finished on the 2nd of Jan hardly any have come up if at all, there has been post/posts about this but as normal Nordeus don`t reply

Talking of this game being broke, my game yesterday I had a DC on one yellow card at half time. I subbed him around 55 mins for another DC to try and prevent him being sent off only for him to receive a second yellow on 58 mins - yet looking at my formation I still had 11 players on the pitch through to the end of the game and the sub I'd already made seemed to have taken affect as he was there on the pitch (so I was unable to bring him on and sacrifice an attacking player to keep four at the back).
When I checked my stats at the end of the game - my sub didn't receive any skill progress to show he'd had some game time.

i was actually hinting at those 2 threads, results being predetermined. too lazy to test it out now since my players are nearing a game, but could someone check it in a friendly? the stronger team being in an insanely illegal formation that disrupts the universe, and the other team having a nice and friendly legal formation
most of us agree possession is a lie, thats why im strongly against the illegal formation penalty
