In my main team i had a few:
Level 2 with 7 active teams playing for title, all with possibilitys to win the LEAGUE until ROUND 24
Level 6 with 10 active managers, again title and top 4 only decided in the ROUND 25 and 26
Level 9 with 8 active managers, 5 of them token buyers.

The less competitive were level 4 and 5 with only 2 and 3 active managers.

Season 2, the final standings of top 3 has same points, and mine ended up in 3rd position (lost on goal difference).
Season 3, each of top 3 differed by 1 point, mine ended up in 2nd position. loll
