Anyway, yeah, many scouts aren't worth the money.

I think it's many scouts are worth the money, a small few are not worth it

Buying those that are 22-23 & rating x8 x9 or x3 x4, you can keep them for at least 4 seasons...by then they would probably still be 4 stars....

This is very true, but I think gamers are justified to expect a certain level of performance from their scout players...or a means of improving the standard of scouts in the game. I've had 3 scout players who would get 4 or 5 ratings regularly, when played in the correct position, although I'm not certain how many there are to try for strikers.
I think we are entitled to expect more than that from an investment of 50 tokens. In the end I've had to sell them off and get new players. A little unfair, in my opinion.

I would insert a screen shot of the one I currently have, and his 4 ratings, but it turns out I don't know how to put screen shots on here.

to point 6: The DL and DR need defense wall to prevent flanks and to defend against the wingers. The central defender definitely needs the heading ability. Against high balls from outside and corners to the middle of the box !!!!!!!!!!!!!! look in Real life. Lahm is a small player but he has awesome defence skills,blocking flanks and tackling . Vidic or Mertesacker are high player with good headability skills. they play DC

my 2 DC's in Top11 have both Ariel defender and they winning more of 90%+ of headduels

To put up a screen shot, use a PC/laptop, open up your T11 page, press the key that says PRTSC, go to the windows logo (bottom left of screen), select it and look in the menu for ACCESSORIES, open that then look for PAINT, open that, look for the menu that says PASTE,( TOP LEFT), this will open up you screen shot, now go back to TOP LEFT OF PAGE , select SAVE!, NOW GO TO TOP ELEVEN FORUM open the thread your commenting on then look for the little picture icon in the horizintal menu above your typing box!(third from the right). Choose BASIC UPLOADER, bottm right, then search in my computer, fin your saved file, OPEN IT, now select UPLOAD FILE.

As for your investment scout player, you must take the word INVESTMENT more seriously!, some scouts take a season to settle in!, sure he may seem to you he is poor but he WILL come good I assure you, have you never kept a scout for at least two seasons?, I dont thinks so because I have NEVER had a scout perform poor EVERY season.
50 T is alot, and the majority of scouts do perform well quickly, but you must think long term! not for now!.

You have a point although I have kept them for 2 seasons I the past and seen no improvement.
You see the problem with giving them an entire season is that they have shelf life of 4-5 seasons, if you're lucky. 3 in some cases. So it's likely you will waste 25% of their time in the squad...that's a huge amount.
Also, I don't know about other people, but a few 4 ratings is enough to cost me valuable league points against teams as good as I am. By the time this player has adapted I may already be out of the cup/too far behind in the league.
I'm afraid long-term rationale can only apply if players are going to improve quickly enough to stay in the squad longer. Which they don't.

Player circled in RED not a scout!

Stats CIRCLED IN PURPLE stats 5 or under!.

As you can see there is not many players with stats of 5 or under! and only 1 player has more than one!

Her is this years scout STs and last years.
Ronaldo and Messi where the scouts from last year!.
I am very happy with what Im getting out of them.

Perhaps I am unlucky, but have read a few posts, so suspect am not the only one. The problem is that, by waiting for them to come in to some form, I find that I may have already cost myself valuable goals. I've won the league on goal difference twice in the last seven seasons, so know very well the importance of goal difference.
Not to mention the points/cup exit...
I think, once you have eliminated all the other options (that includes MC not playing well due to playing down the flanks and other tactical nuances) you're left with little option but to sell them.

You do find players miss lots of chances but they make up for it other ways!, Take Messi my first striker I listed, he has scored 39 goals in 33 league games ok and is a free kick specialist yet he seems to miss loads of freekicks lol! including 3 in a match 5 mins aga of which 2 sailed into the crowd!!!, yet he scores loads of normal goals!!! so although he is not performing to his special ability he is making up for it with goals in play!.
