CL: Buffs FC finished the job at home with a 3-1 win. In the previous match in the league Buffs Mad had spotted a visiting manager viewing the insipid draw. As it turns out that is the manager of the side Buffs will meet in the next round. "Steady the Buffs!"

We came into the season rated 2nd in the league, but after today's 1-1 road draw, we're running 6th. Vincent Nogueira scored early, giving it a promising start, and we held serve for most of the contest. But an 88th minute header off 2nd consecutive corner - they almost always score! - caused us to drop two points. We have winnable games coming up, so there's a chance we get back into CL consideration soon.

We capped off the day by getting bounced from the CL, 3-2 on aggregate, with a 2-1 home loss. Although the stats say it was fairly even, the defense was weak and we didn't do anything to trouble the keeper with a 2-striker attack. An early injury forced a 1st-half sub, limiting later options. We played down to a weaker side and probably deserved to lose.

Tottenhams 1st suffered there first defeat of the season in the second leg of the cup 1-0 but still go through 2-1 on aggregate!, the two goals in the first leg was just enough. The treble is still on!.
