I find with the 4-5V-1 that left/right balancing is important. The right-side MC and DR should complement your AMR player. Try changing those things. Also, try playing him without arrows. My 4-5V-1 runs a blue defense arrow on DMC and red forward arrows on DL & DR. Ratings wise he's doing great though.

I've also found the AML and AMR positions to score less if the striker in front of them is better.
