Proof that win bonus makes difference

Better conditions+smaller win bonus=Loss on penalties.
Worse conditions+bigger win bonus=Win.

A friendly match this morning vs 4-4-2.
I'm playing 3N-4-1-2 (one of the suggested counter formations for 4-4-2).
All players in positions.
Both managers present but my stadium is full so +5% possession to me.
Condition and morale green.
Result: 1-1 FT&ET, lost 4-5 on penalties.
WIN BONUS: 7.5K.

League match away this evening vs the same 4-4-2.
I'm playing 4-2-2-2 hex (which is NOT one of the counter formations for 4-4-2).
One player out of position (ML played in AML).
The home manager is absent but the stadium is full so only +3% possession to me.
Condition and morale green.
Result: won 3-1.
WIN BONUS: 20K.

Friendlies have nothing to do with the competition game, that has been talked before. The engine works in a diferent way.

But it might be only me being septical about win bonus.

Ps: i dindt even knew you could use win bonus in friendlies.

Yea, you can pay bonus in friendlies

I still wih the idea in my mind that one need the bonus to obtain more of the game... this idea comes from seasons ago... so, no change of idea for me LOL

Two results don't prove or disprove your theory in my opinion.

I'd say to get an accurate base on it to see if there is any merit you would have to play the same team a lot more than twice. Probably up to 25/50 times each with and without bonus and calculate the average result from that to collate it into some form of data.

Freak results can often happen, trollings, injurys etc, while some players will play in form and out. To declare you have proof after trying just 2 games is a bit premature for me.

By titling this thread "proof" and "makes difference" I meant this one time occasion. I write off this win completely to win bonus. I didn't say anywhere that win bonus helps 100% I just said that imo it's because of the bonus I won that game. So you guys might wanna chill out

Were you in control of the other team? Only then would i say the reason you won is because of win bonus. Otherwise you cannot say the only reason you won was win bonus

Two games aren't a sample big enough.

You need to try the same formation and the same players in the same conditions for at least some 10 games with bonus and 10 games without bonus.

Since that beat Mourinho Competition has started, I have played Mourinho with maximum win bonus of 4.5 million but he still kicked my A*s......
