Ok here we are. Bale experiment started.

    Before added the SP

    Stretching 25, Cardio 49, Practice Match 56.

So with the exception of the Practice mach the results seem the same.

In an hour I shall appoint his SP and see what it does to his training.

I'm at level 4 atm, and I want to start with this power training. I still have no clue on how this works, but can someone help me as to which player am I going to PT? And how do I know if he is a fast trainer? Thanks!

but now to be more clear let us take an example of a player i bought, he is 18 yo, let us say his average skill are 29 (season 3) and he is 4* (4-5 points close to 5*)
let us say I didn't power train him, so at 30 yo, the system will add 41 skill points, making him 70 in avg
now if i decided to power train, and i made him reach 40 avg (*7), will he be still 70 in avg when he be 30 yo?
meaning by increasing his skills so early by using PT, will he be having same rate of development when 20 yo or less or higher compared to not train him with TP?
bcz if his rate will be lower later compared to the case where he didn't have PT, this mean PT is useless in the long term unless you plan to survive a season or two then sell him.. if that is the case, buying scouts could be ideal
I think you are pretty close there with the age = SP gained = value.

I've noticed this before when buying players at the top of there Mkt value for their level and age.

The 18yo MC 5* 44 I bought last season his Mkt value was 9.2m, I had him for maybe 10 days.
A: his gains were that of a 23-25yo
B: SP gained made no difference to his value.
C: When he hit 6* his value increased to 9.5m but then stayed at that until the close of the season.

This season back to 5* level higher.

A: Gains have almost doubled so SP gained run in tandem.
B: Value goes up daily by 40K per SP.

Also I bought 4 scouts this season, two on Day one, paid 8.5 & 8.6m
To date they have gained around 14 SP no increase in Value except when I allocated the extra SP to make one 7*, his increased by 200k and not moved since.

On the other hand a 25yo MC who was scout last season and the one before, is flying for his age gaining 120% Avg. and he gets 40K increase for each SP.
So two seasons ago he made 7* back to 6* and now 5* taking him back to the level or maybe one less where he came from when I bought him now has him chasing the last SP to maximise his potential before the rot sets in.

So many links in the chain regarding gains but I do think that players are allocated XXXX gains per season as to keep their values and progression in tandem with the level he's at.

Some of the old forum members may be able to help on this one.

Did justdome not say that he had mainly 4* players and if I remember correctly he didnt get promoted as often as others.
Basically hanging around in a level where your players are gaining at their fastest level and why he only bought 18/19yo in general.

There is not a single player in that squad I would use for power training.

Ok finally at the time. I have come to learn from this test that it doesn't matter if you allocate the SP or not.

Bale before allocation. Stretching 12, Cardio 26 Practice Match 54

Bale after allocation. Stretching 11, Cardio 27, Practice Match 54.

So I feel this may have finally proven that it doesn't matter if you allocate the SP or not.

I have just assigned the points I have. I hope to get my team upto a 30 overall 6* before the end of the season. Unfortunately I am now out of rest packs and only 4 tokens. Time to do some saving I reckon for the rest of the season

Have you played game since you allocated the SP, just asking as there is still a chance when the GE updates pre match.
