League: With 2 points dropped in the league yesreday v the bottom team the Buffs had to get back to winning ways and did, in a 6-0 away win.

    Buffs played 4-4-2 v opponents 5-3-2.

Unfortunately the Buffs suffered 2 injuries with Midfielder Souness out for 5 days and Striker McCoist out for 4.

The Buffs' lead is now 9 points and 4th will visit Abbey Park next.

Champions League: Buffs FC travelled away for the first leg. The home side played 4-2N(MC)-3W-1 and the Buffs trooped out in a defensive 'cover-all' 4-5-1V.

Archie Gemmill became the 3rd Buffs injury of the 'week' with a 6 day injury in 33rd min - but at least Baxter found the head of Law from the deadball to make it 1-0. Hutton extracted revenge with a wildly crude tackle which put the home-side's AMC on a stretcher - just in time for HT Tea. The opposition then squared the match from a corner just after the restart. Law rifled one in from range to restore the Buffs lead. The Buffs were getting frustrated that they were not more effective in front of goal and Hutton got his second yellow and was off for a chest-high lunge - although his disappointment seemed only because he was aiming higher. Johnston then finished after a solo mazey-run to give the Buffs some breathing space. Buffs Mad indicated to calm it down but Lambert didn't get the message as he picked up a yellow on 82nd minute and the another on 87.

3-1 win but the Buffs are on the lookout for a billionaire Sugar Daddy so that they can buy off the referees too.
