    Scout

    - When you need a quick boost for your line up's quality, especially when play at first rounds of Cup (at first days of the new season, transfer market is crowded and getting new players is painful)
    - When you have money, but not time for this game.
    - When you are big fan of special abilities.
    - Good scout can last 3 seasons (if his age is 24+), if he's young (22-23), he can be good for like 5 seasons. So you dont have to worry about long-term.

    Youngster

    - If you have time to patiently wait in the transfer market, you can get this type. From day 1 - day 7, it will take a lot of tokens to bid for those guys, but later on, it will be easy to get.
    - You can train youngsters howsoever you want, give him SA, focus skill points on 1 or 2 categories. This usually makes youngster more effective than scout player given that they have the same quality rating. (take an example when a ST doesnt have to waste his skill point on defence will be much better than a ST with evenly distributed SP)

The biggest difference is, however, scout players cost a lot of token, so if you have tokens, let's make your life easier by buying scout players.
