What! how does one meet a level 4 team in the CL final when rated 27. I'm bedazzeled

It's a lvl4 final,he took over a lower level team but his manager level is 27,it's like if u take over a new team it will not shown lvl 1 ,it will start from the level u left
So next season he's shown 28 even though really playing lvl 5 again....
The manager level shown on profile pic doesn't necessarily have to be the level ur team plays..

this above Red devil took over new team before he went Bankrupt as prize money don`t work out with wages, I`v had too play 3 friendlies just too break even when i`v had an away league match

Oh, I see! that explains it. Why would one of ones own choice choose to manage a lower ranking team. Is there something I don't understand?

At higher levels it get very difficult to run a team without buying tokens. Your players wages far outstrip your income and eventually there comes a point when you have to either abandon the team and takeover a lower ranked team or buy tokens. I have this with a level 31 team and am about to give up on it. I have no chance of competing and refuse to buy tokens. I lose 20M per day, even with full stadium and the right entrance fee. The higher you get, the harder it is. I have played this team for 4 years and hate losing it, but I cannot keep it going much longer.

Actually I think (since recently) your manager level will stay the same until you go up to the next number level. So he has some time to get back up to the point where his manager number will change.

As Staggy Stag says, mostly the not wanting to invest in T drives some high level folks to a take-over; some people see the same teams in League again and again and want to see fresh opponents, and too, sometimes you just want to start over.

As Peter Renn and Sporny as explained I retired my original club @ level 27 due to high players wages not comparable to income and poor transfer market plus reaching top of server so u will see this problem yourself if u reach the high levels, anyway I took over a new team from level 1 and have currently progressed to level 4 but manager level does not change until i pass 27 but club level is at level 4 the same as my oppo so no big thing

I see I'm alredy at level 27, and I can manage my ecomics without bying Token, so it is possible, but i must agree it becomes quite the task.

Thanks for your feedback, and again there is no pointing fingers here, I just often wondered myself, why you would choose a lower team, and now I have gotten some perspectives to that question. Thanks for that

Thanks for your feedback, and again there is no pointing fingers here, I just often wondered myself, why you would choose a lower team, and now I have gotten some perspectives to that question. Thanks for that

No problem, I did not buy tokens to fix this problem as they want u too but I did play friendlies but in the end got fed up with it but also with not a very good transfer list decided it best to start again if I wanted to continue with the game so am glad I did, anyway it works for me.

Jo'Burg FC won the Cl final 4-1! First CL title! Even though I couldn't watch the match, but they managed to get the victory.. Great season!
