I notice that left footed defenders block more shots on my right footed attackers and vice versa. I always look for either footed players whenever possible. For my midfielders, I use same foot same side when attacking middle and right foot left side and left foot right side when attacking the flanks, it only makes sense that they would do better. I too have tried to figure out whether opposite foot is better on fk and corners but i just use my in-form player with the specific SA and usually get results. I don't like divining who is going to be able to kick the ball every day I'd rather have 2-4 specific players trained to do it.

It's quite hard, isn't it? First of all, how many penalty kicks average team has in season? I strongly believe it's less than 10. And even if it is 10 or more, it still isn't enough to figure out how useful or helpful this Special Ability is - because player (penalty shooter) would have different performances in those matches and also there would be different keepers which also have different skills and performances. 1* defender can score from penalty and 9* striker can miss penalty so where are no certain borders.

This former player of mine was a 6 yard box predator. I strongly believe that penalty specialist have a bonus to their finishing stat and i used this one as a lone CF with long passing. He missed one competitive penalty out of 13 in 5 seasons (it was in a league game we were already up 3-0). I would only put the ability on CF/STs and would boost their defense and attack over their physical mental to get the benefits of the finishing boost on headers and box positioning on loose/through balls.
