As mentioned in my previous post, my main player signing has hit five for the season, three of which were on the verge of 6* (as the screenshots show) and two were close to Q24:
Needed a DL as I only had one who is Q20 and a very poor trainer. Despite his age, he trains well and should be a regular starter for a few seasons (I rarely do power training).
Though I have two strong MC's, the backup is poor in comparison and my other MC is now 29 (though is 3 SP off 6*). He joins my other young 6* MC to form a very strong partnership in the centre and I also have better backup.
As my defence in the centre was pretty weak (best is 5* Q22, this player fills the spot nicely, even if he was one quality lower than the others bought so far. Also being a DMC helps for extra defensive options.
My most recent signing. As both ML's have inconsistent form (with the younger of the two also being a poor trainer), I needed an ML that has more consistent form. Hopefully this happens as he hasn't actually played a game yet.
Lastly, my pride and joy. No poultry jokes please.
Very surprised I got this player as he seems the type of player that all managers dream of. Young, good trainer, was on the verge of 6*, has an SA. Couldn't ask for much more. Took a random punt as someone had put a bid in and it paid off.
Due to Rhondda Rover's new 'One and done' approach in the transfer market, all signings have cost 1T. Past inexperience has stung me badly with the old version of Rhondda Rovers and it will not happen again.
