What have you learned from last season?
Ensuring there is at least one consistent scoring threat is important. In last season, I sold the all time best scorer of my L20 Team because he was already 24 and I received a quite attractive 3 token offers for him. Before he was sold, he performed quite well, trained efficiently for his age and was highest 4*. I replaced him with a cheaper low 5*, 18 years old player. But this new striker is a very slow trainer and do not score many. My whole line striker was then in difficulties to score for a while.

L20 Team – League 2nd, CL playoff, Cup preliminary
L12 Team – League 1st, CL 1st, Cup playoff(?)

What's your current level?
L21 & L13

What's your budget for this season?
L21 Team – about 560M + League prize, 23 tokens
L13 Team – about 200M + League prize, 41 tokens

Who do you want to replace?
L21 – No urgent replacement needed. Priority is to replace slow learning players at MC, ST. Besides, pure DMC who I seldom use may be sold, one more DC or DR can also be added.
L13 – Also no urgent replacement needed. All players are either fast trainers or good performers. Priority is upgrading low 4* GK, replacing three 24-27 years old wingers, then replacing non-versatile DC or DR, and replacing a non-fast-learning ST.

What are your goals for this season?
L21 – League Top3, CL Top 4, Cup Top16
L13 – League & CL:1st, Cup: Top16
For both my teams, average qualities are the highest ever in terms of stars at season beginning. So, sadly winning Cup is an even more target.


Day 3 observations

For both my teams, no old friend joined us in the same league. I miss these friends, and the interesting competition with them in last season, especially for my old opponents of L20 Team.

I also noticed that in PC version, the wait time for next training session of same type was reduced to several seconds, just like that in mobile version. I re-installed mobile version yesterday. Is this change a result of using mobile version? I am not sure but I don't notice this in last season day.

The teams drawn to same league seems to be closer in quality. For my L13 Team, I noticed that for both league & CL all the teams' average qualities are between 79 and 82 except one league team (about 71) and one CL team (about 75). Both competitions are expected to be tough but interesting. For my L21 Team, the league teams' average qualities are ranged from 118 to 121 except one team which is just very slightly lower (about 117). It will be even tougher. In CL, my L21 team is higher in qualities, the opponents' average qualities ranges from 115 to 117. But this not necessary means the game will be easier as average qualities do not fully reflect strength and some teams may some new academy players.


Day4
After 2 league matches, both my team have not yet got 1st league victory. In CL, only L21 Team can win. The results were unsatisfactory even I predicted that these competitions will be tough.

L21 Team:
- League - 1 points in 2 matches. CL - 1 victory Cup - won 2-0 in away match in qualifying round
- The team's performance is not bad. No big change in roster is required. The transfer market is still difficult as forever. So I am patient on transfer as usual. My team can use 1 more defender. MC is position with priority to upgrade. Other than these, DL, ST and AML/ML can also be upgraded.

L13 Team
- League - 0 points in 2 matches. CL - 1 draw. Cup - eliminated in preliminary round in ET.
- In this season, the league and CL opponents are generally far stronger than I expected. But there is no obvious standing out team. So these competitions are very interesting. The season goals will be difficult to achieve but has no change at this moments.
- In last few matches, most players are not consistent but there is no obvious bad performer. The defenders' match ratings are relatively worse. Some of them are slightly below average in training efficiencies (in this team). So I will try to upgrade some of them. In wing position, there are two 24-25 years old slow training players. But they has been important scorers of the team and these positions are difficult to replace. So I will keep them until a good replacement player will be acquired. The left winger has sign of dropping in form. So I will pay more attention on players in this position in market.

Day 5
- Both teams started slow in this seasons. Victories are badly needed restore confident of players and their manager. Finally, both team won all their 2 matches today, including the 1st league win of each team.
- Here is summary of results up to Day 5. The teams finally ceased to be looked like losing teams.

- The transfer markets of L21 & L13 are very different. My L21 teams spent about 25 tokens but only succeeded in 3 auctions (1 Free agent). In contrast, L13 was very busy to spend about 32 tokens and brought in 19 players (including 8 free agents)
- L21 Team should be more patient, and then try to replace 4* players especially those positions receiving many negotiation offers. L13 Team's transfer activities will be slowed down for now. 2 players are still pending to be signed. They are waiting for my decision to sell any injured or poorly performing player.
