This is <redacted> of Top 11. You made a bid on my player <redacted> of ZERO tokens. I do not sell anyone for ZERO tokens, especially when they are five star players with one skill point away from scout and with a special ability. Would you sell this type of player for nothing? IF not, then why ask me to have him for nothing? He cost me 18 tokens to buy him from another player, and you want to get him 2 days after I buy him and I lose 18 tokens?? What did you drop to make this offer? 8-9 tokens? Again, I paid 18 tokens. And it took me 10 days of constantly making the offer in order to persuade the guy to sell him. Another fact: the seller did not need him - the player was 1* to him and he increased his skills in order to make tokens. He made 5 tokens on the sale. You are asking me to make ZERO tokens on the sale to you. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

In the future, try offering 2-3 tokens to the player you want to buy from and maybe, just maybe they might sell to you.

Also, you should check to see if I need the player first, and if I need him, why would I sell him? Use the grey matter God gave you next time you make an offer and you wont be insulting other managers.

Now, I would update the game to fix this situation by increasing the cost every time the seller denies the sale.
Example: the player offers ZERO tokens, costing him 8 tokens total. I reject the transaction and the next time he tries to make an offer, it automatically goes to 1 token + the mandatory 8 + the 1 token for the Nordeus cut, for a total of 10 tokens. and if I reject that, it goes to 2 tokens + the mandatory 8 + the 2 tokens for the Nordeus cut for a total of 12 tokens, etc. This way you dont constantly get ZERO token offers.
Or add a button, like in the counters.... activate = this player appears in negotiations list, not active, then nope.
    Is that simple.

'Scuse my ignorance, but how are you meant to know if a manager actually wants to keep the player and what's the reasoning behind putting them in the transfer list.

All the 'negotiation' players I buy are zero token bids.
I check and make sure the other manager is a few levels above me and the player is one of the lowest rated in his team, so he's obviously rebuilding a new squad.
I'm doing him a favour by getting rid of the player for him instead of having to wait days on the transfer market with nothing happening.

good for you. seriously. only I have not had the pleasure of getting these ZERO token negs. Most of the time I only get from managers a few levels above so I know they are just wanting to get rid of them for tokens. I have yet to have someone sell to me for Zero. You are lucky I guess.

and I sold one for Zero yesterday since I replaced a 4* player with a 5* - a few SP before scout (for one token) and the ZERO token offer was better than waiting a few days for the player to sell and almost his worth, so it was win-win. SO i guess it could happen occasionally that ZERO tokens comes away with success, but usually not in my experience.

you cant absolutely know unless you can message them and ask. Otherwise you check to see if they are actually using them or if they are constantly in the reserves. Also, if they are levels above you, you should be able to determine if they actually use the player or not and if not, you should be able to buy for the right price.

this is why i never leave player 1 or 2 skill away from next star so too avoid bids and when i`m ready too sell then i`l leave 1 skill away from next star and set selling price if offer received is a joke

Someone keeps sending me zero token offers for my bench players. This would make sense for most teams except my bench is made up almost entirely of fast trainers so it is just laughable. They would seriously have to offer me like 70+ tokens to pry any of them unless they are busts, which in this group I have yet to determine.

As I have mentioned before I have a full 22 man roster with all of 2 players over the age of 21. The other 20 are all nordgen fast trainers. 13 of them I have proven to be successful over long stretches and the rest I just have to find more playing time for. Probably friendlies since I am in no mood to take stats away from my starting 11, especially the attacking players who rack up massive stats.

My 2 starting strikers last year combined for 85 goals and 38 assists in 40 and 41 games. My LW/CAM/RW combined for 67 goals and 52 assists in 39/38/33 appearances. Hell my back 4 combined for 15 goals with none of them having forward arrows.

Where in there do I take playing time away to play an unproven player? They pretty much all get 7/8/9 ratings consistently. Only at GK do I have rating issues and considering that I concede less than .50 goals per game I wouldn't exactly call it a crisis.

Right now my only actual concern is why on earth my 19 year old RB has suddenly tanked down to 6/7 ratings while their were no changes to my starting 11 and he was a monster in his first season.

If a player offers the market value or something close to it I usually sell the player (as long as the player doesn't get substantive playing time). Market value is nice, but most players on auction sell below the market value, so with this in-mind I'm not going to be horribly picky regarding bids placed on my player. I don't get tokens on auction sales either, so the tokens drop the market value at which i'm willing to sell my player at a little as well.
