Chronicles from the Eagles...

Team management just came back from around the world trip and left the boys on semi auto pilot for a while.

The Eagles with 43points hold a defensible 3points lead after 15rounds of matches in the league; with Fenerbahce Fc on 37points and two other teams in distance 3rd on 30points. The main focus this season is to win league title lost in dramatic fashion last season.

We are scheduled to play Chimera from Milano (Italy) in the CL quarter final. The odds are in the Eagles favour to go through over 2 legs. However, our potential opponent in the semi final - another team named Fenerbahce will be the albatross. An all scouts 20man team with no chink in their rank. We look forward to pitching our tactical acumen against this fella...stay tuned.

didnt advance in Cup vs a 18 star team with my 22 star team. The difference in the playing 11 was even bigger, but he scored a goal in the first minute and my aggressive formation only scored once which was obviously not enough after losing 1-2 away.

The last few matches I do quite poorly, no idea why. The difference between my team and my opponents gets bigger, but I start to lose. With my luck I will lose the match vs the inactive illegal formation tonight too ...

SimyFC won 11-1 today... How is that even possible lol. I only beat her opponent 5-1 and she goes and beats a team 11-1 with a much weaker team.

ok so I had a league match today against the team I beat 7-1 outside, there could only be one outcome:


finally a good performance from my 2 strikers in the league after a very long time, Cizek with 4 goals and Petru assisting him the first 3 goals (his last goal was a penalty). Cizek is now league top scorer with 17 goals (also has 8 assists), Petru is top assist maker with 9.

League update, top match: FC Kneipenkick 5-0 La Salle FC (1-0)

The match was at first tricky since La Salle fielded an unusual formation 3W-2N-1-3W-1 (system not listed in the counter formation section), but 4-1-4-1 could handle it (although there is probably a way better response).

The match started with 3 yellow cards for the away team within the first 10 minutes. The 3rd one yellow was for a hand ball in the penalty area. Decker converted the penalty without problems. Both teams neutralized each others, but in the stats one could see that FCK got with each minute better and better into the match. After 60 minutes it was Kunz, who broke the defense (2-0). From that point on FCK got more space and Decker (64.), Mosqueda (69.) and once more Decker (80.) made it 5-0. Player of the match was once more Brooklyn Decker, who scored 3 goals and prepared the other two. In total she scored 27 goals in 14 matches so far in the league.

Taking a look onto the table, that win was an important step towards the league title:


Outlook:
Tomorrow we will play Hoki 88, an inactive side playing 4-4-2. I fielded two weeks ago a 4-5-1V to counter it and thought to be on the save side (with 17 more quality), but the match ended 1-1. So this time I will watch it and check what the game engine does. And in the CL quarter finals we will face once more La Salle FC.

Big scare in the CL yesterday because I started with a illegal formation because I forgot my DMC was disqualified so I kept him in formation and the system changed him with a MC… so I changed him immediately but it's like the system didn't take that into account… I lost 0-2 against a weeker team and missed many chances but still qualified because I won 1-3 away.. great scare but at least I'm through

I need some advice from you experienced guys: I failed to advance in CL and Cup, so i only play League. League goes well, I'm ahead with 14-1-0, but its still close because I have a close competitor with 14-0-1 (I won vs him, but had a draw vs a random guy).

I obviously want to win the league, but i want to prepare in the best possible way for next season. How do I do that? Which players should I sell, which should I buy. Should i let go of some players I dont need (I have a 22 player squad, I guess I wont need them for only 1 competition).

please help the noob!^^

Overturned my CL first leg result in style yesterday as Rhondda Rovers came from 3-1 down after the first leg to attack from the off and win 6-1, giving me a 7-4 aggregate victory. It came at a minor loss as inspirational leader Joe Hamlin was injured with a groin strain. Thankfully it's only for 2 days and should return tomorrow.

Got an interesting match against FC Dusha tonight, who is currently looking to attack with a 4-2(MC)-3(AM's)-1 formation. I intend to stick with my usual 4-4-2 formation, with the power training finished in time for Andres Stiegelman as a 6*.
