    Great work!

I think your 451V is in good settings and shape now. It is all about taking time to adapt players into their positions and get familiar with each other' role and position.

I hope you can use it to win a treble then it would be a classical strategy to train and use 451V, which you might want to write more about how you trained and used it etc..., which will benefit other users whose favorite is also 451V, such as me :-)

    Palace teams report, Friday...

Desert Rats FC were at home against a lower-placed team in the table, and boosted their goal-difference greatly with an 8-0 win. Striker Lorcan Ivory has stepped up to the plate in the absence through injury of primary goal-getter Albert O'Toole, scoring a hat-trick, with fellow striker Steve Haddou and left-winger Chris Passmore putting the Rats 5-0 up by the 66th minute. A brace from right-winger Plamen Atanasov and a late goal from central defender Franck Da Silva completed the scoring, goalkeeper Davide Sonaglia was merely an interested onlooker in his 50th appearance for Desert Rats, who also suffered another injury, this time to central midfielder Jose Carlos Matias.

An injury- and suspension-ridden Palace Terriers side managed to overcome their mid-table opponents at home, 2-0. With central midfielder Aaron Record playing AML, and second-string players in several other positions, it took a couple of early second half goals from striker Waldemar Sanchez and right-winger Julien van der Plas to seal the win.

Palace Casuals were at home in another bottom-of-the-table clash and this time came off the wrong end of a 1-2 defeat. Central midfielder Mustapha Haouli put the hosts in front after only 9 minutes, but the visitors had equalised by the break. The rest of the game balanced on the two injuries in three minutes that Casuals incurred just after the hour, when first Konstantin Kirchev became the second striker on the medical bench, and then central midfielder Paul Clayton joined his compatriot on the sick-list. The resulting unbalanced side then conceded a second goal by the visitors which they were subsequently unable to counter.

After the first few games I realised that the League was a bit too hot for the ageing side I had, so I concentrated (fruitlessly, as it happened) on the Champions League, and put the second-string players in the League squad. The team then just settled, like sediment in a river, to the bottom of the League.

I haven't actively tanked (e.g striker in goal, goalkeeper in the forward line), the team just hasn't been good enough. I've been picking up a few mid-Q, multi-role 5* players gradually over the season and been experimenting which positions they are best in, and winnowing out the older, low*, low-Q players. Just two of those to go, and one is putting up a rearguard action in a (probably futile - I am the Management) bid to avoid the chop.

Hopefully things will be back to competitive normality next season.

    United news

Ohhhhhhhhhh the Champignon League is sooooo boring. The last 10 seasons the Last 6 team of 8 has been the same (myself included)
The others a level higher or sometimes two and over 10 skillpoints better teams. Even when playing good matches the result is always a matter of 1/4 or 1/2 final .. No real chance of taking the title. This is just awful programming, and makes one lose the hope of putting effort into the game to take titles. Because lets admit it, that is what sports are about... WINNING..

I pledge of you Nordeus, Please fix the CL draw so you at least once and a while have a shot of winning it, when you have a strong team.
