Lack of answers might prove that no one knows.

"Slobodan, did you implement the code for arrows we discussed ?"

    ",yes Goran I did,"

    "I cannot find the code"
" that is strange cause I am almost certain I implemented it"
"Our code is just messy nowadays, nobody knows what's in there anymore"

in the upper right corner, there is the search button.
But better go to advanced search.
Then you ll put - arrows- the key word for searching and only "in the titles".
Then you 'll have many interesting older posts about arrows, to read about.

I don't use MR & ML anymore, I prefer to have AMR & AML because they 're scoring a lot and they 're giving me victories when my STs cannot score - I give them red arrows.
    I trust my DR & DL to confront opponent MR-AMR & ML-AML.
I give my defenders blue arrows and that's all.
    * but that's my personal way of playing.

    How I use them:
Red arrows - when player, usually winger, has open space in front of him (eg. when I have 4 wingers while opponent has only 2)
or when I choose defensive formation to force players to join attack.
Blue arrows - when I'm focused on defense or outnumbered in some part of pitch (eg. when I have 2MC+DMC in the middle while opponent has AMC+2MC+DMC, then I use blue arrows on MC's)

I'd like to know why people use red arrows on strikers (ST) and wide attacking mildfielders (AML and AMR)?
I don't understand why should I put one of those on attacker, to force him to join attack? If he is in attack, why order him to join attack LOL?

Instead I'd suggest blue arrows on strikers for 3ST formations. If someone doesn't understand why, then I'll write Wayne Rooney, attacker who has great work rate.
So If you use such offensive 3ST formation, then you need 1-2 strikers to help in defensive (sth what Rooney does).
    And reverse:
If you are playing some 5 defenders formation, then you could use red arrows on some of them, but be careful:
-When opponent uses AMR and AMR against your 5DEF formation, then do not use red arrows on fullbacks!
-When opponent has 3 offensive players in front of your defence (eg 3ST, 2AM+ST etc.), then do not use red arrows on DC's

Remember that there is no universal setup which is good, so that's why we can adjust our formation and tactics. That should improve our stats in matches.

It is hard to define now which position he plays LOL
I've seen him cleaning balls in front of their goal, just like some centre back. Although I'm Liverpool fan, I have massive respect for that player. He maybe isn't in scorers form now, but he is very useful player.
