I have more than one teams.
This helps me a lot to do some observations.
A latest bug about the stats (many times we cannot see the current stats and rates of our players during the game), force me to use the old version (from my pc) to see with my team B, the game of my team A.
I was playing A in my android, the new version.
After a foul of my oppo, the F-K shot by my second choice of the team, then my player 1st choice took the "rebound" and scored.
Meanwhile in the comments of my team B - old version, it was saying that the ball is flying over the wall and ...goal :p
What we see in the live game, it's the "visualisation" of the calculations (which already happen few min ago btw).
There is no spoon.

favorite feet has no effect. this has like hight, Captain and weight been verified by developers :)

Try to gather statistics, mate. I want to do this for some time, but always forget or find myself too lazy to even begin -_-
Like, put your freekicker to both left and right side free-kicks and then count successful and unsuccessful strikes from left and from right. Sounds easy. I definitely am going to do it. Some day... =]
It will be nice to compare the results later.
I'm just going to leave this here.

You think the answer is useless? I disagree. It has been confirmed that height, weight and leg are not purely decorative parameters like captaincy. And that their influence is not big... OK, we knew this =]
But it worth something anyway, any piece of information is valuable. For example, if you're chosing a player to train Aerial def, choose the tallest defender.
Sounds like the person that answers is unsure how the game works!
Ok on the one hand feet, height and weight has a little influence.
Ok, that is fine by me if it was true.
On the other hand, you should NOT look at this when selecting a player. What? So it doesn't matter?
Vague and uncertain answer. Either the engine is so secret or they will not reviel what does not count in the pool of the roll dice.
So sorry no I don't add any value to such a vague answer
Of course it is a secret!
The question wasn't about exact formulas and percentages, no one would give us that. It was "do they matter in some way?", and the answer was pretty clear: yes, they do. As a cherry on top, they don't matter very much, not enought for deciding to buy a player or not. There're more important factors you should consider.
Some people suspected that height and weight don't matter at all, so that was unclear. Now we know for sure and can speculate on how exactly they matter. I bet, height matters when Heading is in check, so it's probably a good idea to train Aerial Defender to the tallest defender in your team.
The Myth Buster that I will never find out :
How does Top Eleven generate player names for each nationalities? What kind of name generator they use? Where did they get the names from?
I asked for that once but they don't want to reveal it :P

Dude, there can easily be a dozen factors that are included in calculations. Think about in real life, would height be one of the most important factors for determining if a football player is good? Of course not. But does height matter? Sure, in some situations. Is what I'm trying to say vague? Hell no! It's the truth.
so you are a manager, and you choose the taller defenders

And for the millionth time! this is a game not the real thing.. there are some programmed factors based on some programmers logic. Not the logic of every single individual idea of how soccer is suppose to work in real life.
some of these real life logics I share; some I don't .. But nevertheless they can't all be squized down in the one box called the game engine.
You're missing the point. Height is one minor factor along with many other factors. Sure, taller players may have a height advantage, but what if they are not strong? They would get bullied off the ball by stronger players, even if they are shorter. Or what if they are not fast? Then faster players can run around them. And then, shorter defenders can still succeed if they are brave tacklers, or if they are great jumpers and headers, or if they have great positioning.
I'd say it's wise to have at least one tall defender so you don't get dominated on crosses, but that doesn't mean that tall defenders are automatically OP. There are so many variables within the game.
Exactly. This is 2016, where computer speeds are fast. We should not get stuck in the era where each stat affects only one specific aspect of the game.
I know some of you really want to simplify the details of the game in order to understand them, but too bad this is life and not all things are so simplistic.
more conspiracy theories

Season fatigue.
Is this a thing? How seriously it impacts players performance?
I noticed this recently. Some of the teams from the bottom of my league table like to play friendlies with me. I always score crazy amounts of goals in those matches.
But when the match-day comes and we play league fixtures the amount of goals drops noticeably. My players struggle in the attack and so on. The difference is obvious, yet at the start of the season there were more goals too. I always make sure to maintain high level of morale and energy.
How to deal with this season fatigue?
I have one also for that: there was a principle where if you buy a good Turkish player(foreign language) then you have to buy 2 Turkish players, if not , your first Turkish player will be sad and will have a poor rating , not being understood by colleagues ; (Turkish player refers to nationality of that player and was just an example so please don't take as racism) :)
the general rule (and not a Myth) isQuote:
Season fatigue.

.....................
- in the first days of the new season, might have abnormal results as the team needs some time to play together
- the third week of the season, is that the fatigue can affect the team (but blue/green boosters cannot help - only rotation)
- player after power-training, have a hidden fatigue and need a couple of days to rest
and friendlies have different calculations from official games.
lol, never seen thatQuote:

What about training ground facility? Does it's level impacts player training in any way? It makes training more efficient or gains better?
no, nothing

An interesting thread
https://forum.topeleven.com/top-elev...ng-orders.html
and a subject for Mythbusters
Can we recognize oppo orders ?
Let's see
1) Attack/normal/defense mode
I could say it's impossible to recognize them from the live game.
But I guess that if we see oppo with weaker team and 5-6 defenders (4D-1DMC, DML-3DC-DMR, 3DC-DML/C/R) we can guess that he has defense mode.
A good idea for this case is to use also defense/counters - as REAL M. played vs ATLETICO M. in last year's CH.L. Final.
2) From which side ?
Cannot understand it either.
Only from some formations. For example if oppo is playing 4-5-1 V must be from the flanks, if playing 4-4-2 ND, must be from the middle.
But cannot guess for 4-4-2
3) Short, long or normal ? - Counter attack ?
Cannot recognize it.
Even if oppo (or we) set short pass & no counters, there are times when the game will give us a chance to make a counter with a long pass.
4) High or low pressing . I don't think so
5) Tackling , for sure not
6) Marking - Zonal or mtm ? Difficult.
I played some times with tanking teams, having all the players in attack.
As the game started (or after every goal I scored) they just took positions near my players.
7) off-side trap.
Usually no but I 've seen in some games (3 in 5 months) that I was falling in the o. tap, 5-6 times in the same game .
Oppo was watching so I thought he used the trap.
Then, in the 2nd leg (it was K.O. games) I switched from defense/counters to normal/short pass/no counters and it helped me to reduce them.
About 3 months ago, the asso groups I had with my 2 teams played in the same tournament and NIK (from khris group) played vs my reserves, ManU (of madflo group).
So I had the chance to make some observations in "official" games.
In the first game, I set in one team hard tackling and in the other easy tackling.
Absolutely no difference in the game play.
I tried to find some hints for those choices of mine, but no.
In the second leg of the tournament, as NIK won the first game with 2-0, I tried to help a little ManU so to have equal points.
So I set some abnormal orders in NIK
Defense, no counters, easy tackling, off-side trap, man to man mix pass, from the middle (but having AML-AMR in the team).
Couldn't observe anything about orders, NIK won again :p
Attachment 83707
I made tests using testing accounts (all at the same level) by making them play against each other. There was not much sense in terms of what was happening on the pitch in terms of the orders used, there was not much sense in the assistant manager advice for both sides (given that I knew the orders on each side), and there were no effects when the orders were changed be it just like that or by following the assistant managers advice. Those were for friendly matches, but clearly it was like watching pre-recorded matches or using a keyboard without its cable plugged in.
Great and I agree with most of the observation. I will double check them later again.
I wanted to talk about nr43 does condition affect players performance. I think no since I've had so many experiences that show otherwise. I talked in my most memorable TE moments where I throw in my highest scorer in the game after him missing 4 matches due to injury, He scored two goals despite having only 40% condition. I think it may be true that it affects injuries and maybe the quality starts to drop when the bar becomes red. There has been no noticeable difference for me between 70% or 90%.
Great observation you made is also "#109/114/116/177 Some players performing better in specific competitions - more than a myth" I would go as far as to say this is true, for reasons I can't explain. I have a MC who rarely scores maybe 2 goals all season in the league. Yet in the cup he always finds the net and during his peak he scored in every match, something he has never done in CL or the League. Same for lots of other players I think about who have a noticeable difference when playing in certain competitions.
Another big one was a ST I had time ago who scored in the league on average 2goals per match. The only reason I never considered him a legend was beacase he sucked in both Champions and Cup scoring maybe only once.
I guess we all have an experience of a not good performance in the first days of the season (I mean against weaker teams).
One explanation is power-training.
When we get new players, we start some power-training to give some extra position or s.a. or just to increase the quality of them.
Is this can be the reason of a not good performance ?
Or it's that there are many new players in the team and there is a bad "chemistry" factor.
Or maybe some "hidden" action of the mechanism ? (for the "realism" of the game)
What is myth and what is fact ?
Examples
New season, I bought some new players and made some extra training for position, s.a. and quality.
My first CH.L. game

(none of the managers was watching).
Let's see how it 'll go in the 2nd round.
Another one.
It's the team of this thread, #25 ZAF, with 717-1 goals in the last four leagues.
https://forum.topeleven.com/top-elev...ts-team-3.html
Today he played his first league game vs this team
Attachment 84089
and won 3-0 :(
(this team is scoring about 7 goals avg in every game)
Attachment 84090
the team is new, with 6 good players from previous season (the marked) and those 1* players to drop quality
Attachment 84092
too much power-training ?
"bad chemistry"/ adaptation ?
coincidence ?
Myth ?
For me, power training= bad performance it's a myth, never happened after power training my player/s to have bad performance.
On the other side,it happen to have many new players at the beginning of the season and they not performe good (sometimes, not always and especially in the league match)

Do player gets better as they go older? Observation from my own player their score ratio is better every season as they age.
I didn't power train my players and I still got a 0-0 draw in the first match despite being favorite and making changes . Yesterday and today I didn't watch the match and I won 5-0 and 5-1. I think we underestimate the power of the bots and I am convinced more and more that's the reason troll results happen.
