Yeah your scout defenders are bad. Especially the one you were using for corner kicks. I'm guessing he beat you on the counterattack after corners because one of your dcs was derping it at the flag.

Hexagon often beats 4-4-2 (I am a hexagon player). However based on form and quality he should win the game. The gap must be like 10Q or so. This is however leg 1, so prepare for leg 2 and win with 2 goals or more difference.

VS hexagon I'm using 3-2(DML/DMR)-4-1 with good results
Had bad days against hexagon too even when my quality was much superior, you have to stop his wingers and the strikers, I didn't qualified for cup 3 seasons back with 2 draws against hexagon.

If I was the home team and won 4-2 in the CL then I would automatically assume my opponent would turn it around in the second leg.
If you concede a goal at home (let alone 2) it almost always comes back to haunt you.
