Atlético Kolkata Day 24 & 25 Report
Day 24: Though couldn't win any today, the results were pretty interesting. 2-2 away in league. We were playing 9-man in the last 8' and without a striker. And 1-0 loss away in Cup.
In the league, we faced the 2nd team. The tactics were high pressing and hard tackling, so Amin Kamyabinia got fired for spitting in the 6'. The opponent scored from a corner in 7'. Without a rightback, I decided to pull out Rose for Indu. Formation became 4-4-1. A minute later, Rhys Dixon scored in 15'. Entwisle booked in 17'. Playmer Portillo got injured in 39', to be replaced by Rhys Ramsey. They scored in 61' but 10 minutes later, Dixon netts a Brace and equalises the score at 2-2. In the 82' Entwisle again got booked which expelled him. In the last 8 minutes we were playing strikerless, 4-4-0. So this draw is no less than a win.
In the Cup, got unlucky to lose at the 90'. We were all out to hard defending, since we were 3-0 up. So Atlético Kolkata made history by making to their first Cup final in 3 attempts by 3-1 agg. Unfortunately it is at a bad time.
Day 25: 2-0 victory at home in league. Soto scored both, in 59' and 73'.

We lost to 2nd place after crown last match..the gaps reduce to 10 points..hehe..we will fill all weak players to the last 2 matches...so they have chance to earn skill points and more experience..kekeke..
CL tomorrow..win is a bonus but lost also is not a big deal coz 90% slim chance when fight with 8* team...I can go this far this season in CL is oledi enough..but who knows..luck at my side...

Day 26 - Palace Casuals report.
The team in 6th place visited fortress Selhurst and were sent away with their ears cuffed after a 3-0 win for the hosts. It was central midfielders day, the wingers having a rest after the Management decided on 4-1-3N-2 to counter the opponents AM-heavy attacking formation. Mario Dinamarca was surprised to be handed the ball to convert a Penalty kick as early as the 1st minute, and Mustapha Haouli added the other two goals in the 26th and 82nd minutes, the first with an assist from the third MC, Miguel Saez. Palace Casuals go up to 9th place - do we want them to go higher this season?
Any formation or tactics advice given is based purely on experience with my teams...
