Day 9 - Palace teams report (2/2).

Palace Terriers were away at the team at the bottom of their Champions League Group and completed the double over them to secure their progression to the Knockout Phase of the competition. With confidence sky high after the emphatic league performance earlier, the Management experimented with a 4-2-3W(AMC)-1 counter for the home side's 3N-3W(DMC) defence, and it worked wonderfully. 3 goals up after 9 minutes, the rest of the game was a object lesson in possession and patience as the visitors added another 5 goals for an 8-0 final score. Striker Brian Horne led the way with another hat-trick, left-winger Samir Gross and AMC Nikolay Radev each scored a brace, and right-winger Declan McGranaghan chipped in with the remaining goal to make his personal tally for the day 9 goals.





Palace Casuals are bedding down for a long season, another sparkling League performance but no end result as they went down 2-3 at home, striker Massimiliano Gerini and left-winger Andre Faisca the scorers. Dropping to 10th in the table, this could be another unintentional tank season for the Casuals.

A important game today against the number 2. Before the match we were equal in points but we were better in de score of goals.
So both managers were present in this game and oppenent had supporters. I thought we gotta get a hard game but we had the better chances in the match and gave nothing for free. So we have now 3 points ahead on the number 2.
