got tat so many times as i swap my goalie position to attacking possition... U will have somethin like tat...

But without changing pos, it is nonstory

I made a post about this case in a popular fb group, TE United of my friend Noel.
I had also two replies there, for cases like mine.
In the beginning I thought it was something like a visual bug, you know.
I see my player as GK but the engine still counts him as attacker.
But @ PricopGeorgeCătălin above, had the same case with an original GK in his position.

@Nik, my goalkeeper from my national team did the same in minute 30+ today. I was quite surprised but apparently is something normal I guess.

#70, describing that a GK oop does not give any more ball possession penalty, that means that maybe a GK and a player don't have any difference in roles anymore.

Well, that's something new in game mechanics and we 're gonna see more "Rene Higuita" GKs in the next games

Played today the CL final vs a weaker team (but with a good active manager and friend)
His GK had 10 saves
But wasn't enough to stop Ronaldinho .

The attacking goalkeeper story is interesting (does it still occur).
A couple of months ago I was going to make a post in the Troll Results thread about the following incident in a crucial game that I lost (I can't remember now if it was a league game that cost me top spot or a cup semi-final).
It was one of those games where I've almost-perfectly prepared and the opposition manager doesn't turn up, but I'm losing from an early goal despite being much stronger 'on paper', at home, dominating possession, shots on target etc. I just can't score and the opposition keeps getting dangerous-looking counter attacks.
You can probably imagine my optimism when I tell you I realised the oppo goalkeeper was taking corners! And nobody was staying back to cover the goal.
But can you imagine my despair when the ball repeatedly got cleared to my striker (top scorer in all competitions, with very high stats for speed, dribbling, shooting and finishing, but he just dawdled around on the halfway line holding up the ball before passing back to a midfielder or fullback?
Shoot for Heaven's sake! Run at the empty, open goal until someone closes on you and SHOOT!

I think I ended up losing 2 or 3-0.

A story from a friend.
The League Top scorer event gives 30% to Finishing.
The top scorer of my friend retired and the +30% Finishing went in auto to his GK.
lol

Well, we see many times in bot teams (like at events) that GK is the f-k specialist of the team, so why not ?

* i wonder many times if those "new" skills we see in GKs profile have some meaning in game calculations or it's just a "translated" mask.
