Days 24/25 - Palace teams report.
Both teams have been running through the lower-placed teams, good wins abound...
Tuesday.
Palace Terriers played at home against 14th place, and due to their large Quality superiority, gave some of the reserves a run out. Luca Giovanni Pidutti netted 4 goals (seemingly un-noticed by the Assistant Manager), Samir Gross bagged a brace before going off injured late on, and Esneider Gil and Ronaldo Pigatto Baratto scored one each in an 8-0 win which keeps the pressure on the two leading teams.
Palace Casuals played away at 13th place and secured three points with a comfortable 6-0 win. Andre Faisca showed the Management he was still around and kicking with a hat-trick, Angelo Musto netted a double and Jack Auger tidied up with one at the death. Mihai Campean made his 100th official appearance for the Casuals, but with Association matches added he's made 104...
Wednesday.
Palace Terriers were away at 5th place, and gained revenge for a home defeat earlier in the season with a 3-0 win, MR Ahmed Moawad getting a double and Esneider Gil the last. After a short period without an injury, Terriers have now had two in two matches, Ronaldo Pigatto Baratto going off 7 minutes into the second period.
Palace Casuals played at home, hosting 14th place, and sent them packing after a 7-0 win. Angelo Musto netted a 1st minute opener before being injured in the 22nd minute, Alexandre Aldano scoring the resulting free kick. Maarten Weigman replaced Musto and took the opportunity to start a hat-trick, Aldano netting a second free-kick before Weigman added his second and third goals. Midfielder Andres Iniesta finished the scoring.
