Season 86 - Are you ready?

I have a League game against Mochamad FC and Cup game against Malaga

Both ended with the score of 4-2 for my side and in both occassion, my players lost touch in the 2nd half

Next up is CL game against Mochamad FC again, who will employ 3-2-3W-2 Ultra attack formation
So far it's the only formation I haven't managed to beat yet. Any tips?

Okay ....this is coming late, but I felt the need to talk about this interesting opponent of mine....he was a bit better, I set up with an asymmetry I have made my main formation...he came with this trying to exploit my formation I guess...so I adapted with playing man to man
....the match started and we had the Bar on our side, after much hassling, we scored, after a while he scored and that was how it went till the 90th mins, I score, he scores...lest I forget, he came up with some interesting formation, I was able to get 2 of the he was better quality wise but we still dominated Hopefully it's a sign of better things to come

Had less time the last few days, so here a short update:

This season, league is the hardest I've ever played: whole league is filled with friends. There's: last season 2.place, last seasons CL-Semi and -final opponent, one FA-member, two RL-friends...

Everything goes his way - all games were won, todays cup was fantastic: 4:0 win at home vs 9% stronger, managed team.
At league, we made a first important win - vs. last seasons 2.place.

Again Costa and Weigl are amazing... 10 goals/6 assists by Costa, 7goals/5 assists by Weigl.

I also needed a ST. After three bad days at market, I tried, to take the chance of a 82% academy-ST - it's nearly a perfect FT and he played at 3 games only 69min and scored 4 times.

Messi scored today his 200 goals for the club. 25 goals to go and he reached the clubtopscorer A. Sanchez

So today we tried 4 2 3w 1 against 4-3-3 and it was a great victory.
We have bought our 5* youth player from the academy and trained him DMC and airdefender. He had a good debute.
We have the team complete. We have found a DL/DC, DR/DC, a new ST and they perfomed well till now.
New ST scored 2 goals and had 1 assist by his debute.



CUP match was a easy win.

I had the worst start ever with my main team. 2 losses in the cup while being stronger. A tie in the CL while being a lot stronger and way better ratings. And now one win and one loss in the league, again with higher quality and better ratings. Nordeus, what is going on?

My second team on the other hand had a good start. Only lost the CL game against a friend of mine who is a good player. No shame in that. Too bad we are placed in the same group. My team had an off day.

Great game for us in league yesterday, against my in game friend, We gave no chance and Beat him by 4:0, and We are now in 4th place.

Of course i changed my main team, getting in some of the new players i bought last season.

Just to end in 2-4th position of the league (for a next same quality CH.L. ).
My league has many good teams (and 2-3 low q).
But I think I can make it without spending extra token or greens.

Today's games was mixed bag.

We got our second vitory of the season against the Slipping Mochamad FC while failing to score perfect points against a weak team


The League game was a showdown between both keepers. Surprisingly, the opponent GK became the MoM despite the whole team consists of 2-3 * players only. Duh!

I need to cut some friends this season. Have played the same girl for 4 seasons now, sick of playing her...

League match day 3 was an away game with this rival, both coming in 2-0-0 with 6 goals for 0 allowed. She had already bought in token players for the season, bringing her 451V team average to 112%, including 119 GK. Pueblo FC tops out about 99 today with no reason to rush this season.

Match was scheduled after 3AM local, and I was resigning myself to an overnight loss and possibly not leading the league. With 12 hours to go, the host delayed the match by 4 hours, and while still not confident, I could support the team and share the punishment.

Pueblo started strong on defence with a long passing 4141. Petterson, our 115 striker, threw himself hard into the fight and took 2 yellow cards before the 30th minute. Veteran striker Arce took the place of an MC, leaving Pueblo a man down with 413w1.

Miraculously, Arce beat the keeper to score the only goal, despite many on target challenges from our lads.
We don't prefer to be underdogs, but it doesn't stop us either.
