HOW tf does that happen Top Eleven??? How? They're doing exceedingly well in their league too. M'****ers are 2nd with 6 wins and 1 draw. How does a 40% team do that?!

P.S: For the return leg, I promised my squad a 2.5M bonus, and played hard attacking with a 4-5-1. With 2 DMF just to ensure a fine balance. I don't even understand how they scored at all. They mostly have 2-star players.
This was one of the reasons I left the game in August, it was a recurring theme every season, both teams progressed well against equal or superior Quality teams only to be upset at the Top 16 or Quarter-Final stage by, on paper, inferior teams that played contrary to their form or ability.
Any formation or tactics advice given is based purely on experience with my teams...

Wrote this in uppercase. Appaz, Top Eleven don't like people shouting in forums.

451 is a defensive formation, would you play 3412 hard defensive? you get what you planned for.

I see more clearly how ignorant, glib and irrational you are now. You think formations matter much more than the vast difference in quality between teams, and that a formation with 4 players either seething on the edge of the box making runs and taking on players , or looking to run beyond CBs to latch onto through passes inside the box--, a tactical team of 3 attacking midfielders, left, central and right and 2 CMs equally proficient at attacking as much as they are at defending with an average quality score of over 90%, is a defensive formation, and can justifiably lose against a team 40% inferior, which has a goalkeeper with an average grade of 20%. Even worse, you fail to understand that formations mean nothing, are not rigid and that the play, and results obtained on the pitch depend far more on manager instructions and the quality of the players: yours and the opposition.

I think nordeus changed the game engine this season. I'm not 100% sure, just a trend that i've noticed so far, especially this weekend from associations and your result adds another upset to that trend.

One member of the association I was playing in then, uses nothing but "hard attacking" and was a heavy favorite in pretty much all his fixtures over the weekend. He lost as a 31% favorite on Sunday and also lost against fellow forum member, Gert Funck (photos are posted a couple of pages back) in the semi's in which he was also a heavy favorite, with his attack bonus stacked at + 27% (We knew this match was going to be a problem) on Saturday. Last season he did very well in his fixtures!

On Sunday, I lost 2-4 and won 3-0. I attacked in the loss, and went normal/defensive in the win. However, in the win, I played with 10 men. So conceded 4 at full strength, but kept a clean sheet w/ 10 men. hmmm.....

Could just be a coincidence, but my suspicion is that "hard attacking" worked last season but is not working this season.

Edit: I didn't read all the messages on the previous pages, please delete my post if possible!!!

Desert Rats FC played at home in the League against the bottom club in the table, and despite a 9.1Q(37%) difference, struggled to make headway against a very determined defence. Emerson de Alencar Arraes saved the league leaders' blushes with a 63rd minute strike which maintained their position after a 1-0 win.

Been a while, missed a lot. First of all I wanna say thanks to my supporters, it's been difficult watching my games now. Season going good and there is a chance for a treble if I can beat the strongest team in the cup and not get trolled badly.... And I see some retired veterans coming back. Very nice, coz I have missed y'all.
