Gabez, don't go. The troll result was harsh with the two red cards. That is about the most cruel troll result I have seen. This last season I have seen troll results over and over again. I am amazed that my main team is in the race for the treble. I had to win 1 league game and I faced the bottom feeder of the league and of course a 1-1. At least the statistics told me that it was a fair result.

My second team had a crazy semi finale. Both games I dominated. I had in total 40 shots with 20 on target. The advisary had 8 saves in total. He had 28 shots with 6 (!!!!!!!!) on target and my goalie saved 4. Guess who went through to the finale. Yes, he did. 2-1 in my home match and 1-0 in the away match. The results are crazy.

This game gona be so ridiculous... there's no logical at all:

I won against a 10% weaker, ACTIVE team at CL-Semi 12:0 on aggregate.
I lost against an slightly better team with only 10 player 2:4 (oppo wasn't watching), turned back against the same team a 3:0 to a 3:5 (oppo watched).
I won against a 3% weaker, ACTIVE team 7:0
Yesterdays league game, I won luckily 1:0 at 85'. Against a 40% weaker team... a team, I've beaten 12:0 on aggregate at cup-semifinals.
Today... I won only 3:1 against 13.place... an inactive, 90% weaker team... I could do, what I wanted... we played at home, 25 to 9 shots, but only 7:5 SoT... great, not?

And it's not only me... my main rival, the chinese guy, got a hard troll and lost the chance to win the league. He was really lucky, to made 1:1 at 88'.
Today... he also was very lucky: he won 2:0 against 11.place (40% weaker), but stats were to his opponent. He scored at 86' and 89'.


I really feel it... 2 week season is coming. I really don't know, if I should cry or should be happy, beause I can quit without regretting it.

Unless we get a consistent update anytime soon, this game is doomed to get worse with time. There's no real explanation to results, I mean, if they admitted that there IS a problem then we would just wait, maybe for some time a little angry, but at least they recognized it. Instead it's complete silence, with some people still trying to defend the indefensible and most people angry as hell!

For the moment I'm playing OSM and Top Football Manager. I admit TE was still more addicting until some time ago, but I can see many features that are missing from our beloved game that keep me away from it.

Either Nordeus has to give explanations (and/or an engine update) or we are going to face a huge run away from the game (the merged player market update was hinting it, IMHO)

We are struggling against a lower quality association. Our managers are all active and watched the game today, theirs are not.
This season we came 3rd, 2nd and 3rd, and we don't know if we can do it in this semifinal to stay in platinum division.

This **** has happened every week now, totally absent and lower quality managers that are actually kicking our asses sometimes even scoring 5, 6 or 7 goals. And stop finding excuses about tactics, this game is no more a soccer manager than Tetris.

I guess, all your hundreds of titles are based on luck guys? Or are you saying, the engine has radically changed after update? Then it needs more numbers, not only "weird" matches but also at least how many matches didnt go weird compared.

Classical selection bias.

For every 1 "troll" result there are countless of "normal"/"as expected" results, however the latter will rarely if ever get posted about.

Everyone likes to talk about real life, well - for starters - in real life even the best managers have a win percentage of only around 65%.

I do admit it would be good to have more transparency regarding the factors that influence the outcome of the game, however 10+ posts per day on troll results - to those I say - get on with it.

Talking about realism, as I said, even the best teams lose sometimes, but their bad results are based on something else compared to TE. Barcelona even in bad form, would still win against the last ranked teams, because the general quality of the team is better. In TE even by taking account of quality, strategy, form, morale and bonus, you still lose. There is no form of compensation.

The problem as I said in many post is that there is not enough transparency on how things work and how much influence they have in the game. That makes me angry, not the defeat per se. You lose and you don't even know why.

My thoughts exactly. The game can't hide behind "realism" only when it favors them. The weak teams we get the troll results are abandoned and the players are not trained in weeks (they would be fat and out of shape in real life) Still this season I got a 1-1 draw against the last team on the table who has only 2 points and can't even beat the other last teams.
