I noticed in the SL final that the stadium wasn't full. Never seen that before in the past previous experiences. I know it's on a neutral ground but what could possibly cause that?

Well, my notion that the game engine pre-determines in which tournament you will achieve most (see this post https://forum.topeleven.com/top-elev...tml#post463823) has just been confirmed
In the SL I got to face superior opposition starting from the quarterfinals. First I beat the manager 20% my superior (3:0, 0:1), in the semis met a guy 25% stronger from two levels above. Winged it at home 1:0, and in the return the rival manager had every right to consider himself trolled. I miscalculated the exact time the game started, so logged in when we were about 30 minutes into the first half. At that moment I was leading 2:0 from two penalties (!!). It ended 3:3, so I danced into the final, which was played this morning.
The oppo is from one level above, about 15% stronger. I go with my usual ultra-defensive (4 in the back-two DMCs-MC-AML+AMR-lone ST), which has proved to work in the previous rounds. I take the lead, he equalises but I am calm as an elephant - I have all the faith that the RNG has nominated me to be the SL winner this season. Am I right or am I right? Damn, yeah. Final score 4:1, and there I have my first SL cup in the trophy cabinet
The stadium wasn't full for Desert Rats' Champions League Final, but that wasn't a first in this manager's previous experience.
Overnight injury worry Mohamed Lotfy made it as far as the Substitutes bench, but wasn't needed as Desert Rats completed their third treble with a workmanlike performance over their slightly lesser Quality opponents. Having won over two Legs in the Cup earlier in the season, Desert Rats were in the ascendency over their adversary, but things looked grim when left-winger Stefan Vucomanovic found his name in the referee's notebook as early as the first minute, and he knew his contribution to this match was going to end sooner than later. The Management bravely left him stewing on the pitch until half time, when he was hooked in favour of right winger Patrick Tillmanns. There was definitely an indication of utility attacking midfielder Sebastian Nielsen's preferred side, because, apart from an assist for midfielder Eric Yeste's 14th minute strike which gave the Rats the lead, he contributed little from his right-wing berth, but after the break, having been switched to the left to replace Vucomanovic, he became all-business. In the 77th minute, just when the anxiety over the match position was rising, Nielsen broke with his previous practice of crossing from the left-wing and cut in himself, evading a defender and slotting the ball past the advancing custodian to increase the lead, which Desert Rats held until the final whistle, winning the Champions League 2-0.
Couldn't have said it better myself...
Many thanks to all who supported the Rats today.
