Heard some other players say this as well. Haven't had any trolls myself this season though.
I made the mistake of watching a game today. Surprise surprise, opponent GK turned into Superman and saved everything. Got MOTM with a 10 rating. I lost 0-4 at home. I am confident that would not have happened if I had not attended. I won’t be attending anymore this season.Quote:

Haha, kinda with you on that, been playing for over 6 years, individual bad results happen, that's life, but I win far more often than I lose if I have the better team. I don't think there is any doubt that the game algorithms have changed adversely for many creating the likelihood of a troll result. We all recognise the signs, usually starting with the opponent GK being MOTM with a 10.0 rating.
The Managers who say they haven't been affected by a troll result are incredibly lucky. In my 6 years in this game I have never seen it so bad or as many complaints as the last few months.

Watch this for example. Last 4 seasons (after the new TE2019 and where the people was moaning more about results) I won 4 trebles.

Watch this now. I started winning trebles again when I started using the Milan kit and changed team's name.
Before that, I was using the colorful jersey of War child and the emblem of your avatar.

Lol, I am sure you winning has nothing to do with the Milan kit! Nik, the way you play really requires a lot of effort and time. You sell well trained players every season. Have to buy new ones every season and retrain them from scratch. I notice you train them to a very high quality and you attend most matches with max support. I am sure you also maintain max training bonuses almost Everyday? I tried that but I can’t keep up. I am somewhat copying your style of play but adjusting due to time constraints. Think your trebles are well deserved considering the time you commit.
Having said that, trolling has gone up. I think a big quality difference minimises it (manipulate draws). Also attending matches provided you make the correct changes can beat trolling. Max training bonus and max support helps too. Basically just do everything! And if you still lose, it’s really a troll result you can’t beat.

That's why i was quitting :)

well, it would make the difference of winning 1-0 this abandoned team or getting a draw .
You must do every possible tick to avoid those trolls behind the corner .
I use also the trick of watching some suspicious games (for example my opponent have won some good games, without being present) from another team I have.

Old system was: snipe low 3* fast trainers and feed them with FARMED greens (maintaining low grey/high white attribz) :) Now it's useless imho :) >>> That's why im quiting :)

I got this without that kit,111% vs 78%(****ty players),won 2-0 away,lost 3-1 at home after 10 wins ,60-1 goal average and after decided to watch my 1st match of the season.

Had two horrible results so far, one in the league and on in the CL, lost 1-0 and 4-3 to teams 30% weaker.
Won every other game against teams my strength.
The two losses were the two games I never managed to watch, so I can quite happily put to bed the theory of not watching makes you win.
I'm pretty confident that if I had made both these games I would have turned them around.
Just sheer luck if you avoid and win.
I've had 3 so far this season other two weren't this bad though. The right winger a brought on got a 7.9. My striker got the ball played to him in the box with a through ball and just stood there waiting for a defender. I kid you not.litrally just didn't do anything for about 3 seconds he was alone in the box about 8 yards out and never shot. A adefender eventually tackled him.

Rizla, you need to understand what is happening. Many of us are spending hours every day training, preparing, watching videos, spending money to improve our teams but we feel cheated because we are losing to much weaker teams almost every time we play. The game engine is flawed and they will not listen. It is happening to too many players now.Quote:

The problem is larger than just troll result. I'd say, it's practically absent correlation between the efforts of the manager, all kinds of numbers and controls shown by the game (morale levels, condition levels, in fact even level of the players, stats shown during the game, orders given by the manager, attacking/defending mentality, and pretty much everything else), and what's going on in the game. If I change mentality from hard attacking to hard defending (just for one example), I see no change in the live game. Whether I check or uncheck "play offside trap", they do it regardless. And so on. The player who approaches opponent's goal up front, has very little chances to score, while the player shooting at however sharp angle, has 100% chance. If the shot has bounced from the opponent's goalkeeper to my player, the 2nd shot will score 100%. And so on. The problem is that the game is obviously preprogrammed, and that preprogramming does not depend on the actions of the manager.Quote:

No red cards in any of the games. The only game I was not present is the last one. In none of the games was the opposing manager present. So that is allready 7 games this season that seem off to me. In the last 56 seasons I have had the occassional result that felt wrong, but nothing like this. My team is pretty much the same aside from the improvements we all try to make each year.

My team 137% (and better when looking at the specific ATT, DEF attributes) vs. Opponent: 112%
I was at home, attended the match (other manager did not) and I had additional fans resulting in a +15% possession advantage. Overall I had a possession advantage of 74% to 26%.
The opposing team had TWO RED cards.
All my players had positive motivation and, as this was the second leg of the Cup and I had already lost the first (2:1), I put the money bonus to full.
RESULT 2:4
Please someone explain. I attended the match, changed tactics as it looked necessary, blah, blah, blah. My team had not allowed four goals in a game the entire season against equal or greater teams let alone one 25% weaker who lost two players, due to reds, during the game.
I haven't given up yet but this result is making me question my sanity about putting any time into this game.
[I would love to post screenshots from the game but for some reason they are not loading into this post. Another thing to be fixed.]
I guess, the only reasonable conclusion is realization that the true genre of this game is slot game. Some slot machines probably also have football players depicted on their drums, and the casino patron who feeds it with the tokens probably also can fantasize that he has invested in training them.
