Day 27 Results...

Not one of Desert Rats' most successful days, their only win a narrow 1-0 away win in the League. Lost Champions League Final to a +1 Level, +4%Q team, and yielded 8%Q to their Association opponent and lost both matches. Association lost Semi-FInal and will be in Play-off tomorrow, but are safe from relegation this season.



Home Guard FC had a more successful day in Associations, and had a comfortable win in the League, confirming their League Championship. Their Champions League Final was against a team that suddenly jumped 10%Q overnight, and they didn't get a very good start, their right-back being sent off in the 11th minute, and late on the left-back received an injury...

We won doubles with both teams... Champions league win today has broken the over 10seasons jinx. I was winning cup but never champions league, won super league, yet no luck with champions league.... Won the treble, and will be setup nicely for a platinum repeat bid next season. I'm the only one that isn't a quality underdog in the final, so it could be challenging, but we've done well in such situations before.

Ah, so you too won the treble with a team that has clear weaknesses. Mine have been conceding a lot of goals, and I know that there is indeed a problem in defence. I sold my main defenders that were in the team for the past few seasons after last season finished, and made a mistake by selling the youth academy defender that came in too, and I struggled to get the defenders I was looking for, and hence, I had to do with what I could get for this season. My team have weaknesses in midfield too and it does not have a proper free-kick taker (one that would have a high percentage of free-kick conversion). The fixture list also was a hard one this season; many matches were set close to each other. Still, the team won the treble. In another season, you could have a much better team, a team with no weaknesses, a team with very good free-kick takers, and even get a better fixture list, in other words a team that should have more chance to win the treble, but still this team will only manage to win one competition (usually it is the league).

It's like I told last time: (maybe) there will be a time after Costa. The moans are only a preparation for this time.

We scored 259 goals, 157 goals (goals and assists) by Costa. You will see... after his retirement, my moans will increase highly.
