FC Kneipenkick CL update: FC Kneipenkick - "Thai letters team" 2-0 (4-2 on aggregate)
In order to go fit into the match FCK preponed this tough match for 2 tokens. The away team changed his tactics from 5-4-1 to 4-1-4-1 and probably chose once more defensive mentality and played for counters. FCK used another tactics as well, 3W-4-3 with attacking mentality. Result was an offensive match by both teams with only 2 goals, secured in the last minutes of the match with a 3W-2N-3-2.

    LEAGUE ROUND 23

    TURKUAZ SK 0-4 July Fourth
    July Fourth League Champions!!!

    TURKUAZ SK 100.3 4-2-2-2 Hexagon - July Fourth 108.6 3N-4-1-2

Nice early lunchtime kick-off for July Fourth giving us plenty of preparation time for tonights crucial 2nd leg at home against bordomavi in the CL after the 1st leg ended a frustrating 1-1 scoreline. This mornings job was to finish the job in the league and get the final win needed to be confirmed champions for the 16th time. We decided to mostly play our reserves here with subbing in and out any players that will feature in tonights CL Semi-Final. Even with a weakend team we were still expected to win this match.

July Fourth wasted a few chances early through Zidane who didn't have his greatest of games this afternoon I must say, maybe saving his best for tonight against bordomavi and it took 35 minutes for Miku to put us into the lead with a shot from 25 meters and we lead 1-0 at half-time. After TURKUAZ had a few chances early in the second half with having a couple of corners and a shot wide, it was the forgotten man that gave us a little show in the 2nd half, Crawford beat his marker and went 1v1 against the keeper and his shot went in off the bar, Zidanes excellent throughball to P.McNamara to run against the keeper and to chip it into a empty net to effectively end this as a game and in the 80th minute Crawford made a carbon copy of his goal from earlier to make it 4-0.

July Fourth fans and players passed the ball around the field pretty much ole style now as the league was now over and we were waiting for the clock to run down in the game and when the referee blew is final whistle this confirmed us as champions once again for the 16th time and we equalled our club record from seasons 1-8 of 8 straight league titles.

    Goals: Miku (35) Crawford (52,80) P.McNamara (66) MOTM: Crawford.

Well done. Thats an unusual early kick-off for a CL match, did you change the time?

Yes, I payed the 2 tokens, because it was less than an hour between league and CL match in the original schedule. Normally I would have fielded my reserve in the league, but the league opponent has been tricky and brought me a home defeat two weeks ago despite being only 7th (it is a very strange team, it won against the 2nd aswell, but lost at home 1-4 against the last, who plays an illegal position).

Following Goatisan's defeat yesterday in the league, I have now officially won my first league title with 4 games to go and a (current) 14 point gap. I will now try to finish in style and go for perfection, 26 wins of 26.

More importantly is my CL semi final 2nd leg at my place tonight against Cules FC, who beat me 2-1 at his place. They are overall weaker than me by Q8, but have a pain in the arse 5 man defence to deal with in a 5-3N-2. I went 4-4-2 Classic last time. Any advice on a possible formation or a particular tactic to try (guess I need to go attacking)?

My positions are very limited, so only have a DMC as an optional extra.

New Team wins 2-0 home in the CL second semifinal's leg and it's in the final. Two early goals were enough to overcome a mediocre opponent.

I am very worried about the team's performances lately. Against a Q30 team i expected an easy win outta CL and yet we suffered even tho having 60% possession and favour bar on us.
AGAIN, they shoted a lil more than us in the end. I have no clue on how to adapt to these costant engine changes as again today our narrow diamond wasnt that much effective vs the 4-4-2 flat.

I have a sensation that the game might penalize teams with unassigned skill points over a certain number. Since wheb i reached the 200+ my team performances dropped drastically in CUP, CL AND SOMETIMES in League too. Bah, i ll keep going anyways till the end.

I "abandoned" the 4-1-2-1-2 formation last week and applied the 4-2N-2W-2 formation instead... I´ve been doing well so far. I recommend you to do the same. But it´s up to you
