I would say the best way to win auctions and to spend your tokens is to put a pre-value of the number of tokens you are willing to spend on a player your interested in and only bid to what you think hes worth and if your outbid then you can't be too angry about spending too many tokens or $ on a single player. But what you spend on a auction token wise will vary depending on your server/level and how many token buyers thats around you competition wise.
