No, you can not pick positions and yes, if you have 28 players, you must sell to make space for new ones...
Before you go selling to make room for academy players bear in mind you're going to get a 2 star player for 0 tokens and a 4 star player who is going to cost you 8-12 tokens.
2 star player is good to either sell for extra money or hang on to for training bonuses and draw manipulation.
4 star player you'll have to think carefully about. Do you want to spend the rest packs to train him up to be a 100/120% player?
Looking forward to it is a good as it gets, once you get a little higher they all have crap stat's and you're asked to pay for the privilege of the use of these young donkeys. I did not yet signed the token academy player. If I wait till tomorrow, will he...
a) ... be counted as one of my best 14 players for the new season calculation (I only have only 15 regular players right now)?
b) ... loose 20% because after the start of the new season despite he's not yet signed?

I mean, the dif. between the 2* academy and your lowest q player cannot make such difference in the draw.

You won't see what works best, it's impossible. There is no criteria to do so, especially after just a few training sessions -- the difference will be slim to nothing. Drills of the same level improve the player's quality at the same rate, by the way.Quote:

Sounds like real life. Just keep trying til you get it right. I have a lower rated player who consistently outplays other players and gets more training points. Sold some of the others to raise cash but won’t sell him

I have 2 youth players available in 2 days time If I'm culling my team at the end of the season down to 11 players and then add these 2 kids along with a rubbish 40* player obviously that would drop my overall team quality more than keeping three 40* players yes?
Just I'm in a league full of money men who just buy buy buy and i don't want to play them next season as will never win the league.
I'm on level 2 whats the odds of me playing these same players again in level 3 if i keep my team together?
