I,m enjoying the game so i bought some tokens and bought 2 players from the scout list, but with the new season just starting they have lost a star rating ? Why when i spent 100 tokens ?

It happens at the first day of the season.
To keep the star rating alive the star rating reduces when you level up but it doesn't change the strength of the player.
So don't worry.

Hey Mark. I just want to clarify that players never really "lose" stars. When you go higher in level and meet new opponents, the stars are used to show how good your players are compared to other players in that level. Their stats are the same as when you bought them. It's just a visual change.

With the way the system works, I tend to sell players that I know need replacing on the last day or second to last day of the season before the value decrease/age increase. There is still plenty of people who will buy.

Buying scouts on the first day of the season is advisable, because for that season they will be scout, and if they are a high end scout they can sometime be 1 quality away from being a star higher. So that's potentially 3-4 seasons before they will drop down to a 5 star player, if they are played and trained regularly & brought at a decent age.

They are better than the players you see on the normal transfer list, Pity you cant get scout players that are 18 years old.
