Some changes will be applied in the next edition of both european competitions, the most interesting, the option to have a 4th sub' during the extra time, the changes related to the regulation of the market, that will allow players to change of club inside the winter market, and play the CL or EL with 2 different clubs (one during the group stage and another from the 1/16 round), too the match schedules are moved from the 20:45 Spain/Germany time to 18:55 with all clubs playing at same time.

The finals will have some changes too related to the convocations that will allow 23 players in the place of the actual amount of 18. So yea, 12 sub's in the bench,
