It's part of the problem for sure. Not convinced removing it is the only measure needed. Still think people would overuse tanking. Give people an inch and they will take a mile. Sadly game needs to reduce the flexibility of tanking somewhat to stop it being abused. For a start limit it to 1 in 5 seasons perhaps. Also reduce association tokens and place on league top 8 to encourage people to try. I've seen many 100%+ teams start season trying only to give up and tank if they suffer an early loss. Where is their competitive spirit? Only interested if they can roll everyone over and get 1st?
