Ball possession - how comes ?

I 've noticed the latest seasons that ball possession has weird numbers in some games
No need to post any pictures, you can observe yourself.

Better quality team
more % from supporter (or tickets)
equal or more midfield players
oppo not present (to tab some extra bonus)

How comes

I said as much after my League game last night. I was 22% stronger team. I had majority of possession and loads of supporters. Opponent had no supporters and didn’t watch the game. Result 1-3.
No matter what adjustments I made it changed nothing.

Let's talk of practical examples... in the case of the ppl that mix high avq players with 1*sfor example, this shouldn't be strange.... then in the case of equal matches is something that we can try to... track and study... lol

No, I 'm talking about an A team with 120% q vs B 103% for example (without 1* - 7* mix)
A team has also (with the present manager) a +3%in extra bp, but the stats showing 52%-48%.
How comes ?

Now, at real football a stronger team can give space to weaker team
- if it's their strategy or
- if they have the score that pass them in the next round.
We saw that recently in some games of WC 2018.

But in the TE game and oppo manager absent it can't be.
(plus that the AI of the game is rather poor)

I have always better possesion than opponent no matter the strength...maybe sometimes I am slightly behind...maybe but never dominated...had 45% possesion vs 50% stronger team...we both watched
I play 4-5-1v short style with counters off

Played a CHL match today I was home and we both spec also teams were equal
I had 60:40 poss advantage till 20 min when friend of opp joined...posession changed to 58:42
When he scored for 0:1 i changed pressure to high and tackle to normal...also stoped clicking poss and clicked att bonus instead...possesion stayed the same 58:42 till end...
Won the game tho xD

Probably tactics influence possesion alot

Part of the possession advantage might be randomized for each game.

I think some things are clearly wrong in this game or maybe it is just a few of us that are 'not smart' enough to make sense with things in a 'nonsense' game.

Yes, especially when 'tactics' do not make any sense anymore in this game as such.

Presence of oppo manager and his actions affect but I am talking about games were he isnt present.
