You know something. I know theres managers that do random adds, but some actually add because they hope they can gain extra support in their matches rather than the unwanted friendlies factor.

I don't add because of two things... I'll probably be thrown into a Leveller FC type of league which even with PT, would be impossible to win. Unwanted friendlies, I can't allow stuff like it to happen.

I like the extra support, on my 2nd team I get lots of it but they do tend to do unwanted friendlies on the last day, which is annoying but at least it's the last day lol

CL group stages, round 5 - Kucai FC 0-3 Perfect Tactics
    Kucai FC: 41.9, 3N-5-2 flat
    Perfect Tactics: 56.9, 3N-2W-2N-1-2 (2nd half 4-5-1 v)

We already qualified but we were using this match to try out different formations, orders and players. With the formation we started off with, we were not able to break past their defence, which was understandable considering we were attacking through the middle. We changed to a flank based attack in the 2nd half and we did get more chances although Kucai FC almost scored from a 1 vs 1 position. Van der Zande opened the scoring from a corner and then Nascimento doubled our lead from another corner. We were sitting comfortably but we still could not break our opponents down as easy... it wasn't as if they were amazing defenders because they were just 4* defenders and we should be killing them. However right at the death, substitute Pistov capitalised from a mistake and went through on goal to score the 3rd goal of the game.

Goals: Van der Zande (55'), Nascimento (58'), Pistov (88')
    MOTM: Nascimento

3N-5-2 flat is being a pain in the ass to counter... dumped us out of the cup and gave us a lot of problems here. Did I also mention that Petersen got a yellow card? Hard tackling... bad idea lol.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GROUP E ROUND 5

    THUNYABURI FC 1-2 July Fourth

    THUNYABURI FC 104.7 4-4-2 classic - July Fourth 111.7 4-1-2-1-2 ND until 63 minutes then 4-1-3W-2

Same as Perfect Tactics already qualified from the group so it was basically a run out for the players this evening, I didn't change the team from this morning that beat Mehmet but that was because of the 5 minute warning on the iphone lol but this match was a dead rubber but it became a test for us as in the very first minute the home team scored from a Hansson long shot and it took us a while to get into the game and we scored on 33 minutes with a Miku throughball to Michu to chip it over the keeper. Papaleo may as well stayed home this evening, Michu missed further chances and it wasn't until we switched tactics and attacked the wings we found a way through by winning a corner for Michu to take and Adams to header in. Michu could of made it 3-1 at the end but put it wide. The win means we are still on course for 6-0-0 in the group stages... yet again.

Goals: Hansson (1) Michu (33) Adams (73) MOTM: Miku.

    I hate 4-3W-1-2, 4-5-1 v tends to work though.

Cheers pal. I was thinking of using 5-2n-2w-1 and try and catch him on the counter but I'm not sure.

I like the 4-5-1v so might go with that.

    Don't forget that his 6* is 5*, 5* are 4* etc....

    I would go 4-1-4-1, 4-4-2 or 4-1-2N-2W-1. But don't relay on CF

Ahh cool. Many people saying the 4-5-1v should be fine so I'll go with that

I'll focus attacking down both flanks, own half, mixed passing.

    Thank you.
