Actually I would want Mehmet to beat Takis (Mehmet are home) in the return fixture of their clash in the second half of the league season, despite them being 2 points behind, I see Takis as the bigger threat than Mehmet.Quote:

We already qualified but we were using this match to try out different formations, orders and players. With the formation we started off with, we were not able to break past their defence, which was understandable considering we were attacking through the middle. We changed to a flank based attack in the 2nd half and we did get more chances although Kucai FC almost scored from a 1 vs 1 position. Van der Zande opened the scoring from a corner and then Nascimento doubled our lead from another corner. We were sitting comfortably but we still could not break our opponents down as easy... it wasn't as if they were amazing defenders because they were just 4* defenders and we should be killing them. However right at the death, substitute Pistov capitalised from a mistake and went through on goal to score the 3rd goal of the game.
Goals: Van der Zande (55'), Nascimento (58'), Pistov (88')
MOTM: Nascimento
3N-5-2 flat is being a pain in the ass to counter... dumped us out of the cup and gave us a lot of problems here. Did I also mention that Petersen got a yellow card? Hard tackling... bad idea lol.

Same as Perfect Tactics already qualified from the group so it was basically a run out for the players this evening, I didn't change the team from this morning that beat Mehmet but that was because of the 5 minute warning on the iphone lol but this match was a dead rubber but it became a test for us as in the very first minute the home team scored from a Hansson long shot and it took us a while to get into the game and we scored on 33 minutes with a Miku throughball to Michu to chip it over the keeper. Papaleo may as well stayed home this evening, Michu missed further chances and it wasn't until we switched tactics and attacked the wings we found a way through by winning a corner for Michu to take and Adams to header in. Michu could of made it 3-1 at the end but put it wide. The win means we are still on course for 6-0-0 in the group stages... yet again.

Updates from my end.
Rhondda Rovers managed a tough 2-0 away win against Muss FC in the League, the goals coming from Szabo (56) and Nicholls (74). Not much else to really say. We are still top of the league.
However, Rhondda Rovers had to come from two goals behind (from a goalkeeping cock up and their only one on one chance) to draw 2-2 away to Chelskicherries in the CL. They scored in the 61st and 72nd minutes, so in a fit of rage, a tactical change saw Cutts taken off for Arianto, the formation changed to a 4-3-3, hard attacking and all three midfielders with red arrows. Sutcu made an instant impact in the 73rd minute to make it 2-1, followed by an 83rd minute goal by Jorgensen. There was one more clear chance in the 87th minute, but Jorgensen shot wide. This was a case of wasteful chances by us more than anything. However, a point was enough to make sure Rhondda Rovers go through top of the group.
In other news, Steigelmann, despite his six goals in eight games, being superb in the past and being my highest rated midfielder, may be sold if another midfielder comes in. Despite scoring goals and having high morale, this is inexcusable, especially the recent CL game:

We had our first bullet of the season in CL, where despite the 75% possession we spent watching the match from minute 25 on 0-1 for us, and passed the whole remaining time watching the total nothing, as not a single action was showed. Bug? At half time the engine didnt wait the usual 30 seconds to start back, and from min 45 we had straight the "xxx starts the second half" message. The whole 2nd half didnt show a single action too, but just the writing "goal" as they equalized. Nothing more to report.
The 4-3-3 keeps bothering me when i play away. Some pages ago someone seemed to have a perfect counter a d july was agreeinf, but i cant find it :(

I lost the lead in league with that result, but only because of goals. Fun fact: I will play #1 tomorrow, but he has a slightly better team (36 vs my 35.7, but his best 11 are better than mine). With home advantage I should be the favourite, good thing also: We play the game at 11pm CET and he is Australian, where this is like 6am. I just hope is some lazy student like me, who is never up at that time :D
