I hope so too... I used lot of greens to get Nascimento to play as AML because I wouldn't be able to get a decent 6* or better replacement for Mata for at least a week so I had to do it, let's hope it pays off. I can also play the 4-2-2-2 hexagon or 3-5-2 v where Mata, Nasicmento and Sevela will all be playing... Mata will mainly be used as a backup now, he's still a 5* player and quite a slow trainer...

Petersen at July Fourth!

Despite the rubbish that I saw this morning, when other managers wanted to off load their unwanted players, the 5* players started appearing, OK they are not young fast trainers, but with some of my squad players dropping to 4* this season, I needed some sort of replacements for some squad depth. I need a couple of defenders and a MC and then I can be happy with my team for next season. Funny how I signed a played named Petersen, he happened to be a good replacement for Rocky. Same age but 7 more Quality and also plays in 2 positions to the 1, the SA doesn't really matter since Rocky was a redundant penalty taker to Petersen's no SA.

Be strange me typing in Petersen in some of my match reports during the next 2 seasons.

Cup Preeliminary Stage: St Domingo (Lvl 6, 41.4) 1-2 FC Kneipenkick (Lvl 5, 41.5)
First regular match of the season led FCK to the Merseyside, where St Domingo awaited us with a 4-1-3N-1-1. Thanks to PT FCK could go ahead in overall squad quality minutes before the match started. Formation for today 4-5-1 V-style. St Domingo had a +5% possesion bonus, both managers watched the match along with 1 friend each and a full stadium.
Kunz (5.) brought the away side in front and FCKs defense defended the lead up to the half-time break.
In the second half St Domingo had the better start, Dean (47.) scored the equalizer. Motivated by this goal the home manager wanted to risk more for the win, replaced a MC by a second ST. New system 4-1-2-1-2 ND. FCK reacted, moved the attacking winger backwards, new formation 4-1-4-1. St Domingo brought many shots on goal, but the match was decided by a counter. Long ball to Kunz, who outplayed the keeper and played a brilliant pass to Dabrinova, who scored the 2-1 winner (75.). So, a good start into the season, but it was only a close win.

We are still in the PT PHASE. with our bets Yuma, Diamond, Schneider and Lenders nearing the 100 unassigned SPs mark, we might make a couple of em into 8*. Maybe. Despite losing a star, not assigning sps and still being in the younger bracket (21 yo) some player's growth rate disn t change much compared to last season's.
We miss just a good scout keeper now, hoping to find. 49 one from scout in a few days.

1 or 2 new signings may be power trained but not the 2 new signings we obviously made today that were signed for back-up than anything else. We will sign and Power Train our youth player if its a position we require.

That´s good and variation comes in handy, especially if you have a limited squad or a "bad" bench.

I ended (or aborted is the correct word) my PT for today, got 3 injuries and that was it! But I managed to do fine from the morning - afternoon without any injuries, wierd! Anyway, burned mostly of my 300 greenies and got around + 167SKP (distributed on 9 players, 7 scouts and 2 youngsters)....Don´t know if I´m gonna buy some more packs tomorrow and continue the PT. I want to use the last 100T to buy a scout or a server generated player instead.
