[Official] Top Eleven 9.0 - New Youth Academy

Hey Managers! Top Eleven 2020 has just hit all platforms!

And with this release, we bring one of the most requested features by our global community - an all-new Youth Academy! The feature will kick in beginning with the next season.

From nervous teenagers to superstars - these players are the club’s future, and every Manager knows that!

To enter your Youth Academy, go through the Ground screen or by tapping the new Youth Academy icon in the menu section on the left side of the Home screen. Once there you'll be able to find the Young Talent Center on the right side of the screen and your Youth Academy players on the left! Scouted from the best academies, youngsters with different positions, quality and features arrive at the Young Talent Center where they will be available from the 3rd to the 7th day of the season! Choose wisely and bring the players you think will be the best fit for your system once ready to step on the big stage. By tapping on the player you'll be adding a new player to your Youth Academy. You'll also be able to set the preferred position of your Young Talent Center players.

The number of players you're able to recruit to your Youth Academy depends of develepoment of your grounds.

Once you've made your selection, with the beginning the second week of the season and it's time to get the most out of your Youth and hit the training ground! Every Youth Academy player has one coach assigned to him to ensure his development until the end of the season. Under the player’s name you will be able to find his quality - the quality a youngster will have at the end of his academy days and once ready for the first squad.

But that is not all. Now you can assign more coaches and empower the players’ progress during his Youth Academy days. Every coach has a unique impact and duration of training. Assign different coaches during the season, experiment. find the best combo for your player to ensure his growth. In the Youth Academy screen, you can track your players' progress anytime during the season and ask for more coaches. Remember to keep an eye on this screen as there may be some special coaches visiting! ;)

From local coach to head coach, invest in your players' growth and ensure they are ready for the top-flight football for the following season!

Once the new season kicks off you'll be able to bring them to the first squad and then it's their time to shine.

You're not going to be able to play with your young players during their Youth Academy days. You'll be able to improve their progress and assign coaches to them to get them ready for when they join your first team.

I hope you 'll work for something to that.
At least if we could use some of them in friendlies.

Lian, are the youth players 17 years old and can be signed at 18 years old in Day 1 of the new season?

Thank you very much for this informative update.
When I click on the “Youth Academy” icon I get a counter of 6D+. Is it correct that we will only be able to actually get into the Youth Academy and see all the new stuff you described as of Day Two or so of the new season?

So far as the information goes ,I like the idea of shaping youth players to our needs and having them available from day 1 of the next season will be great. A few questions though 1) what is the maximum number of youth players a manager can bring through a maxed out Academy per season ? 2) What is the cost of a player in tokens ? 3) What sort of % Q are we looking at when the player is available to be signed ? 4) How much does each coach cost ?

If i understand correct, in six days we 'll have the first group of juniors.
We 'll train them for the next season and we 'll pick some of them the 3rd day of the other season, not this.

On Friday there will be a Facebook Live and we're also be sharing a Youth Academy tutorial video to try to explain it better and answer some of your questions ahead of the feature going live.

The maximum number of players you will be able to bring to your YA during one season is 4. So 4 players in 1 season. In the Young Talent Center you will have several young players with different values and quality and you'll be able to bring the ones that best suit your strategy.

Will the young talent players lose also 20% into a new season when you can get into the first team?

Players from the Youth Academy will not lose stars once joining the first squad. And regarding current YA players, all the players that've reached 75%+ percent in development will be added to the squad on a day when the new Youth Academy kicks in.

On which day? My next youth academy players from the old system were supposed to come on the last day of this season. When will I get them, the first day of next season?

If they cost tokens, then why maximum 4 players? Why should there be a limit? We should be able to sign all players if we will be paying tokens? Nordeus ways are weird when compared to real life football (no sense). Maybe it will cost tokens to recruit them to develop them in the youth system too.

for training we 're using greens, not tokens.
If it's about to exchange tokens for greens, better use them to buy scouts.

You are sure only green packs? It does not make sense to use green packs to hire coaches or assign coaches, and why green packs, those player will not recover every 3 hours every day?

I'm sure we can pay different coaches to improve the youth players. But from a trainer perspective, you want to start with a low player to give him good skills with your greens. So why would you spend so much on trainers, if (what I assume) you can't select what specific skills youth players improve on.

More probably like users will have to pay unless they want players like the 2-star player from the old system. ;)

For the last, maybe because Nordeus know 'specific skills' or individual skills do not matter in game. ;)

I expect it to be more of a pay more than actual value thing but get less value back, that is, users will have to overpay (and maybe way overpay) just like many of those past and current features for getting players in this game. In others words, probably the way to go will still be auctions followed by training for many users. It will be too good to be true to have an academy system where users can get many players at the price of their normal actual values or for a small extra... we know Nordeus and their ways enough, expect big extras to be paid. :rolleyes: ;)

For me it all depends on whether it's easy to find fast trainer. The fact that you get the player on season day 1 is great and I would be willing to overspend if that saves me a lot of time in auctions to find a fast trainer for the right position.
A 2 star fast trainer youth guy would be fine for me. Makes not a huge difference if you start 2 star or 3 star, few more packs but better player at the end.

Lets first see what Nordeus has made of the Youth Academy.. hopefully you can train daily just like with the regular team or something like that..

And I suppose the more someone spends on it.. (with greens) the better the players should be... and also if they would sign in the first team they should be free of tokens..

If there is already a price that should be money.. most players have Billions of cash and are not able to use it.

Using cash would be great! Sadly I have a bad feeling, YA is going to be a token drain as some others mentioned. Adding players to youth center, hiring staff and eventually promoting them to first team would all cost tokens. Maybe our free slow training youth might also cost tokens now. So we would be spending to train them up so that they are more expensive for us to promote to first team. This is how I am managing my expectations. Any better and I would be pleasantly surprised.

If you can find and train your juniors for greens and later sign them with some logic price of tokens, like 8-14 we pay for the higher q players now, it will be interesting.
if it's about to pay a lot of tokens, then it will be a fail like the potato double sa scouts they presented.

There are so many possibilities; better wait and see next season. Those players coming from the academy can themselves be potatoes (young but slow trainers) and flops (perform poorly in matches despite having enough of % quality).

I suppose he meant that players that reached more than 75% development will be added to the squad the normal, usual way instead of 'on a day when the New Youth Academy kicks in'.

Tact: no worries i have deleted this shi1t anyway :)

Whole season i had only 1 loss (of course in final:rolleyes:) , dominated everything but CL final. Loss 1-0 from way weaker team. Team had flat 80-100ish players. I trashed similar teams with 5-7-10 until now (yes 10)... :rolleyes:

Oh its going to cost us both: tokens and green for every youth player (4 of them). I shall try anyway, just for curiosity. I am thinking that is better to buy 3* player first day of new season and train him same day (that way I can choose what attributes to train).

Ok, I can see players already having 1 position assigned and they have a certain starting quality too.

Wait... how can the preferred position be set when the player already arrived with a specific position assigned to him from the step before? :confused: This does not make any sense.

Training time... Senior Coach 50T and 30 green packs for 7 days of training, Head Coach for 80T and 50 green packs? Hahaha.

It seems that each coach level gives an additional boost to the quality of the player, but Day 8 to Day 28 makes 20 days of training, so the cost for hiring coaches is expected be 3x those hiring values shown.

Such a missed opportunity, for both players & Nordeus. Get the feeling most players were excited about the prospect of this update but nearly all now priced out of the market. All of a sudden it’s gone from excitement to feeling ripped off.

7 days training for 3 weeks, at 80 tokens a pop is 240 tokens if using best coach -not to mention the initial price of buying player ((if wish to do so)).

I don’t get the sales strategy in hoping a very few spend big when they had the ideal opportunity to encourage many to buy a little.

I buy the monthly card most months & feel getting atleast a bit of value token wise. I enjoy playing game and totally understand the need for them to make a profit so we can all have a game to enjoy but this is a total slap in the face.

I mean who buys these coaches? They are absolute crap for their cost,10x better to assign the young guy to the first team at lower overall and train him then from what it looks like. Imagine buying the head coach 3x for 240 Token and then first day of the new season this player appears as a slow trainer in your squad. RIP
