[Official] Top Eleven 3D - What's new? - March 27th

The community’s most requested feature is coming to Top Eleven! 3D Live Matches arrive this Sunday, the 27th of March.

Read below to learn more about what changes this big update brings and get your squad ready for the day.

3D Match Highlights

There is nothing like the energy of the touchline when you see your strategies leading to trophies! With Live Match highlights shown in 3D, you will be able to watch your tactics take shape with beautiful animations and immersive football movements.

Feel the excitement of goals hitting the back of the net, passes rolling through different weather conditions, your defenders blocking opposition attacks, and more.

With 3D you will get the chance to meet your team in a completely new way. See your free-kick specialist hit the top corner from the edge of the box, or your top goalscorer take the header for a last-minute win to lead your squad to another trophy.

2D to 3D

With this update, we’re also introducing the option to toggle between 2D and 3D view. By tapping the button on the upper right corner of the screen, you will be able to switch between 2D and 3D views easily, letting you pick the option that suits your style of play.

Match Improvements


3D gameplay will allow you to see your team in motion and to have a better understanding of the impact of your strategy and tactics. Additionally, with this update we bring match improvements for an overall enhanced experience both in 2D and 3D.

• Increased variety of match actions.
• Worked on accelerating the team's application of different tactical setups, reducing the time between changes and their impact on team movements.
• Worked on improving the player rating system for a more refined reflection of players’ performances.
• Introduced weather condition representations in 3D Live Match highlights.
• Improved stadium level and pitch pattern visualizations in the 3D environment.
• Added new sound effects for additional football immersion.
• Implemented other smaller changes for an overall better experience.
• Adapted Live Match layout both in 2D and 3D for easier navigation.

Additionally, all of the factors for getting the best out of your Top Eleven squad remain unchanged - preparation, adaptation, good scouting and precise tactics are still a must for every Manager.

Playstyle icons will not be visible within 3D or 2D highlights, however, the importance of the Playstyles and their impact on player performance will remain as usual. Your players’ Playstyle icons will be visible in the Squad section.

Additionally, with 3D Live Match, players with the GK role will be unable to be set as a set-piece taker nor seen as set piece taker in highlights.

The match improvements coming with this update are just a first step in the new chapter. With other improvements in the pipeline, we’re looking forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions as we continue working on the best match experience possible.

Device Requirements

The new update will be available on the App Store, Play Store, App Gallery, Microsoft Store and Web Browser. There will be no changes in general requirements to play Top Eleven, including the minimum supported OS versions.

The Minimum App Version that supports 3D Live Match and the above mentioned changes is v22.10.

All iOS devices that support Top Eleven will have the 3D feature available. For Android, the recommended requirements for supporting 3D Live Matches include RAM memory larger than 1638 MB and a newer generation of GPU (graphics processing unit) which includes a dedicated co-processor designed to accelerate graphics applications, user interfaces, and 3D content.

2D Live Match will continue to be available for all supported versions. Web Browser and Microsoft Store will support both 2D and 3D Live Match.


Jerseys in 3D

3D Live Match marks a new era of Top Eleven kits!

All existing jerseys added to the game before the launch of 3D and official jerseys will be available for use going forward. They will also be visible in the Club inventory. However, in 3D Live Matches, these jerseys won’t have an identical visual representation. They will have approximated one-colour kits in 3D in order to avoid any visual issues.

All new jerseys available for unlocking upon the 3D launch will have a fully mapped design in 3D. This applies to all jerseys available for unlocking in the game or in the Shop upon the official release of 3D Live Match. Patterns and colours from custom jerseys in the Club Shop will also be fully represented in 3D live matches.

Shorts, socks, and shoes will be preset for each jersey based on its design and colours and will not be available for selection separately to ensure good visibility and to provide an optimal management experience in 3D matches.

Third kit

In rare situations, the colours of both home and away kits chosen by teams playing a fixture can clash. In such cases, the system will automatically assign a third kit to the away team to ensure visual clarity and distinction between teams. The third kit will be one of the default jerseys whose colour does not clash with the home team's primary kit. These third kits cannot be preselected and will be applied automatically on a match to match basis.

Club Shop News

The Club Shop will be refreshed with new jersey designs with the new season. Keep an eye out for the new kits dropping on the 3D launch day!

1638 MB = 1.638 GB, phones under 4 GB are not very stable for android anyway.

I have a feeling that we will see an increase in the token prices in the shop for the “3D integration”.

Plus, I hope that the “improved” ratings system also includes being able to see the ratings on the squad screen while the highlights are playing.

you can still use it. but in 3d it'll be plain color jersey. unless you're like me who are content with 2d and doesn't care bout 3d. i will stick with my rare old jerseys
