    CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SEMI-FINAL PREVIEW

    July Fourth vs vito6a Tonight
    vito6a vs July Fourth Wednesday

    July Fourth 119.3 - vito6a 116.9

This is got to be up there with the biggest matches i've played in T11 and vito6a are a team of scouts, although it doesn't look like they have always been a scout team because they have actually never won the champions league before but this season they are serious challengers for the title just as much as we are, we have to be at our very best over 2 legs and this tie won't be considered over until the final whistle is blown because on a their day vito6a are the type of team that can win against us. We have to make sure that this doesn't happen here as we are looking to put right our disappointment of last seasons tournament. They have a dangerous 7* striker Qeriqi who is also a free-kick specialist, however his form is not that great with only just 5 goals from 16 games, expect Hadadifar to be a threat with being a shadow striker AMC and like Wardley massive their 2 central midfielders are corner takers. Cesar Figueiredo from the left side of midfield is dangerous with 12 goals this season. vito6a's manager has been having a end of season squad clear out it seems and he has reduced his squad to the minimum 14 players after selling a defender this afternoon.

Both teams have nobody suspended for the first leg and July Fourth have central midfielders Diamond and Stuart on a yellow while vito6a have a number of players on a yellow card.

Odds to qualify: July Fourth 4/7, Vito6a 11/8

    1st Leg Odds: July Fourth 8/15, draw 9/4, vito6a 4/1
    2nd Leg Odds: vito6a 11/8, draw 2/1, July Fourth 15/8

    First Goalscorer (1st Leg)
    Michu 4/1
    Papaleo 9/2
    Miku 11/2
    O'Sullivan 6/1
    Qeriqi 6/1
    Figueiredo 7/1
    Vestergaard 9/1
    Hadadifar 10/1
    Diamond 14/1
    Stuart 14/1
    Other 7/1

    Goals: U/O 2.5: U 5/6 O 10/11
    BTTS: Yes EVS No 5/6

    OTHER SEMI-FINAL: aejn vs gunners

    aejn 114.8 - gunners 110.4

Slight favourites to win the competition because of the easier draw of the semi-final and not knowing the identity of their possible finalist face a determined and gritty rank outsiders gunners in the first leg at home and should be fully expected to win tonight and send them on the way to face final when they will become underdogs should they face July Fourth, but if they face vito6a they could well be the favourites to win because they are higher than vito6a in the league table, gunners however are 4th in their league and fighting for the right to be in next seasons competition. There is a small possibility of a all-bulgarian final if gunners and vito6a qualify.

Odds to Qualify: aejn 2/7, gunners 11/4.

    Today score 2/2.

    League:

Very boring game but the goal is accomplished

    CL:

Won first game in CL but with a cost of two injuries.

Good news for our next game is that his striker is suspended

After a couple of bad results the past few weeks I changed my orders back to a more conservative style and upped my win bonus to 5K.
Yesterday and today's matches played out very well for me as a result. I'm now top of the league again by 3pts.

Won C/L 3-2 after being 0-2 scored 2 goals in last 6 mins. opponent played 4-3W-1-2 so I played 4-1-3N-2 and changed to 4-3N-1-2 and then 4-2N-1-3 so looks like I got original set up wrong any suggestions for the return leg?

League, Day 21; CL, Semifinals, 1st Leg

Edit: it's 3N-1-3W-1-2 in the second match*

League: A very comfortably win away against our friends of Arif FC keeps our streak alive (59 consecutive wins); a match played by mostly reserves after we forgot to switch back yesterday. Not a problem seemed as we dominated without needing to recur to the big guns.

    Scorers: M.Lopes (2), K.H.Schneider, T.Matsukase, B.Banner
MoM: K.H.Schneider (9), New Team, with only 38' played.

Champion's League: We had a good share of troll in the first half were even dominating of a total of 10 shoot 0 were on goal, it wa a succession of "goes wide" and "poor effort". Nonetheless Tony Stark played the comeback just before the end of the first half with a personal action (44') which unblocked our plays. In the second half we were oppressing the opponents in their own area until first Clark Kent (FK, 53') then Johnny Blaze (67') gave us a foot in the final. Matsukase who were close to score all the first half sealed the 0-4 at minute 73'.

    Scorers: T.Stark, C.Kent, J.Blaze, M.Tenma.
    MoM: C.Kent (9), New Team.

    Afterthoughts

Despite the engine and the troubles, we keep playing magnificently. As opposition, the stronger we face the better we seem to perform. What we are hoping i to keep the same situation tomorrow in our cup's second leg and eventually have a shot to qualify despite all the bad odds (July, make a quote on tomorrow's cup match vs William Asset ).
We are in the CL final again, and gonna for the first time support the weak guy ithe other semifinal as this French opposer who i prolly meet in the final has been cheering for my opposition more than twice in this CL.

    CHAMPIONS LEAGUE - SEMI-FINAL, 1ST LEG

    July Fourth 6-0 vito6a

    July Fourth 119.3 3N-1-2-3W-1 then 68 minutes dandelion - vito6a 116.9 4-4-1-1

This was a tough semi-final as mentioned earlier in the preview but sometimes you don't know what to expect from July Fourth, yesterday they couldn't score to save themselves and today was a different day as we worked to banish some of our past disappointment, For the first 20 minutes vito6a were getting the early chances in with Gougoulakis posing the early thread with a cross that was cleared by Hogan and a shot on goal from him that was deflected away from Miku, we sensed early that something wasn't quite right so we changed our passing style midway through the first half, O'Sullivan was the first to attempt an attack for July Fourth and Negrea won the ball and cleared it, Miku's long range shot then found the back of the net and it was Miku's 20th goal of the season and the first in a while, 5 minutes later and Michu got through on goal but it was saved and Stuart crossed in the corner and Michu jumped up and headed us into a 2-0 lead, there was a spell for vito6a to try and get an away goal and get back into the tie before HT and we defended well with Childs.

The second half started and July Fourth continued to pressure the vito6a defence and Vestergaard and Ramirez both had a shot blocked before July Fourth turned on the style and took away the tie from vito6a's reach when Michu passed to Diamond to fire it past Lisai in the vito6a goal, Then a foul from Manero earned himself a yellow and allowed Michu a free-kick and he got it spot on by firing it into the top corner... vito6a needed a goal to give themselves any hope in the 2nd leg, but Billota could not beat Hogan and Childs and July fourth soon finished the game off when Hogan's clearance then found Diamond who decided to go for goal and unexpectedly found the back of the net from long distance... 84 minutes played and there was time for one more... this time from O'Sullivan who got into the right area of the penalty area and just went for power and beat the keeper to wrap up an amazing night of football from July Fourth.

    Goals: Miku (28) Michu (33,60) Diamond (52,78) O'Sullivan (84) MOTM: Michu.

Team Talk: Before tonights match I would of been happy enough with a 2-0 win tonight, but it seems like we got our tactics spot on for this game and our opponents just had no answer when we play like this. This is what July Fourth are capable of doing when they are at their best and tonights result was totally unexpected and I'm delighted to have beaten such a tough opponent in vito6a by a scoreline like this. I think we can say we are safely in Fridays Champions League Final against either aejn or gunners and we can watch their game tonight to get an idea what to expect from our potential opponents in the Final.
