Yeah, I never really indulge in bidding wars. Over the last two seasons, I've realised those two star players are useful. Sometimes they actually perform well. But I never renew their contract so by the end of the season, their contract ends and they go. Old players who are already 31 and above are going to retire soon, but I never sell them unless I need to make space. I always let them retire, they come in handy with injuries red cards and wotnot. But they get tired easily, and cannot play every single game. I'm in the Cup final this season, and I pray I win cause I've never won it as a manager. For like two seasons I never even got past first stage. Champions League I've never got past the Quarter Finals, and I only got to the quarter finals this season. I've never been knocked out at the group stages, but for three consecutive seasons got knocked out at the Round of 16. Compared to some users here, my portfolio ain't that impressive-

I hardly ever got into bidding wars in last 2 seasons. This was a mistake i used to make on level 1 haha.
I'm pretty sure i'll get thoes 6 players i need with less than 20 tokens. the rest will come handy for next seasons probablly. not going to powertrain my players this season so i had to make it this way in order to get 10quality increase on my average by the end of the season.
Starting with about 33, ending with 42 is what i want to do.
Yet on my level there are many people that buy alot of tokens and thoes are mostlly in my friend list, i had to figure this out so i could compete in the cup even if im not home.. as im going on a trip next month haha-gonna miss most of the season but i still want thoes trophys.

I end with the same thing without doing nothing, just let your player end there contract, If you dont have 14 players, thats what normaly happens in my teams, there are replaced for autogenerated 3*players with only 1 year of contract that you can sack for free.
You reduce your quality, and you just need to sack them and sign a New contract with your old players.

Same result, less work and time lost.

I couldnt aford to wait my players another 2 seasons as all of them were new singings on season 3. completlly rebuilded the team

i did some basic mistakes and didnt plan my cup competition the previous season that's why i end up always playing higer Q opponents, still finishing 2nd wasnt that bad but i could do more if i aplayed same tactics.
