Its freedom of choice I guess it does suck when you have to play a amazing side like I did in a champions league final 2 seasons ago I played a team with 8 scouts player and by scouts I mean the ones that are 49 with a special ability not one you can buy on the market and I lost 3..2 In the final because he had 2 supporters! but it is possible to do well without buying them

buying tokens will only help ya to achive things faster. You could do the same if you spent twice the time that usually a token buyer would need.
I personally won CL CUP and League for 3 seasons with my alt team, never bought tokens on there- only got a few from free offers and thats it.

Nothing wrong As this game would need them in order to be up.
I personally like to invest in things that i like, even more if i spend so much time as i do on topeleven xD playing with 6 different accounts.
4 of them are farming tokens so that i could start negotiating with them and get their money and tokens on my main account xD
Im pretty sure that there arent many ppl like me around here
I've also completed many offers this season, all of them for free- they got me over 90 tokens and around 250green packs.

i stop getting into bid wars. As of know i only use 1 token on a player.

What i love to see is when someone comes on the forum and is angry cause they bought tokens and have a 'unbeatable' squad and then out of no where they lost... Those posts make my day

I don't buy tokens, but I have received a lot of tokens and stuff through the free deals when I've seen ones I like. I did however have the highest quality team by far in my CL and lost in the finals, so it's very much a similar feeling (except probably worse since I put in effort/time instead of just throwing money at it). That loss in the finals was in penalties too, which is always the worst way to lose. The main problem I had was that my players have had poor form recently, and they under-performed, while my opponent's team all had 7-9 ratings.

Still, I achieved my season goal: won league, and built up my team to where I should be more than ready for next season.

On a side note: I don't resent token buyers. I hope I don't end up facing any soon, but their money keeps this game going.
