You have to find drills, which improve white skills and also add 1 or 2 greys in for him to gain much again. Example Recommendation would be Set Piece Delivery, Carioca with Ladders, Fast Counter Attacks....

maybe it's something different (as the TE2015 from TE2016).

Ok, for this young player I got (a 14t academy player) I spent 100 greens
50+25 for this set of drills, to improve most his defensive skills
and 25 more, to improve more the physicals


If I didn't care about improving his white skills, I could give him this +20% to quality, with 75 greens.

Hi Guys
I am sure there is stuff on here already re this, but training my 19 yo Striker to be a AMC. Just acquired some rests but in 4 trains at 15% then 4 at 18% only had 2/50 cones! He is a pretty quick trainer - already trained him to be a free kick taker and got him from 99% to 120% all this season.
Advice please, before I waste any more tokens
Does it matter what drills you do?

couldn't wait for an answer, so tried training his worst grey skills to good effect - used 34 rests to get to the 50 cones. May be worth trying

Avoid training grey skills.
Focus on shooting, finishing, some dribble and much speed I'd say.

The opposite you 're doing with a defender (to give Header or def.wall),
You give attacking drills for that.
