Special Ability - Useless or useful?

I have a DL/DC with free kick special, he has out-scored some of my strikers over the last 2 seasons. For a striker I think one-on-one scorer. For MC I like playmaker or dribbler, for AMC: shadow striker [works best against weaker opposition] and for DC, Aerial defender

a corner specialist is also good with free kicks and the same happens with a free kick specialist and corners

Regarding shadow strikers from my experience so far this season

first 2 are non-shadow, the last picture is the shadow. Obviously, my shadowstriker has the edge by being higher stats also.

what formation do you use?
this game is not only buying players, you will need good tactics as well

Playmaker - Useless - These sorts of players are *supposed* to take on the kinds of roles such as David Silva or any playmaker in world football. But they simply do not as their assist ratios are rubbish. They are, however, a yellow card magnet as the only thing they are good at is passing and are prone to several yellow cards and the occasional red. If you are the kind of manager who likes to play flat formations then this may be useful with short passing, but usually the fact that they don't score that much makes this ability useless. I had 2 playmakers last season and all they did was get yellow cards. This season I have 2 more playmakers and I get the same thing, they get more yellow cards then they are scoring/assisting.


I have to agree with u on this one. All 3 of my playmakers always get yellow cards or red ones sometimes.
This one is good and also a mid/fast trainer
