I also encounter late subs, sometimes making another change doesn’t work too.

You are right.
Usually I 'm doing the trick of switching a little the position of another player but some times still doesn't work.

Do you mean that if you give an order for a sub, it works ?
Without to give a second order or change anything else.

I don't think that is a problem of few accounts only.
Maybe a server, ok.

I haven't been able to recreate this with my club across platforms, so I'm trying to narrow it down to why this may be happening.

Yesterday I played few nations games and subs were working like a clock.
I think that after some update or server changes we have, subs are ok and later they broke.

I played today a game
Time 18.40 (GMT)
After conceded a goal at 49' (in a usual troll game where I had +40% quality and opponent wasn't present )
I made a sub, switching my DC Colovati with an AMC Snejder (first I moved my DMC in the position of DC).
As you can see, I could watch my sub playing in the game.


But later, when I saw that I couldn't score, went again in formation's screen and saw that this sub never happened.
Colovati was still in the game, in the AMC position (where Sneijder should play)



Then I made the sub , this time Roben instead of Colovati and it worked (except that I didn't win ).





Me as many other managers have a lot of expectations from TE 2019 but the two most important things is to fix the bugs and to fix the game (random) results.
