You should be able to link any account with Gmail ...:/ so then you can play without FB.....
I was connected my second account with facebook, than tried to connect that account with new gmail, but it just made new account level 1. Something is wrong with my second account, probably cause I used that gmail for my first facebook account (hotmail facebook account).
