    Here is an older update:

Table of Counter Formations - What to use?
Table of what formations can work to beat your opponents

To save lots of diagrams I have used Common Terminology to help describe the formations shown.

This is a list of common formations to some lesser known formations. This list does not include formations that are illegal or asymmetical formations.

Please Note: This does not 100% guarantee that you will win the match.
Please Note: This does not take in account relative strength, This is based on both teams being equal.

It is not possible to cover every formation in the game, there are 1,144,066 possible combinations for a formation in Top Eleven, Whether they are legal or not.

3N is 3 central players, 3W is left, right sided player with a central player

    There we go:

I've reinstated the thread since someone made a copy, no point leaving it deleted.

    Hi, guys.

I don't really care much about others guys. I prefer that they worry about me.

    Since I've started playing the game (first and second season to test), I'm with 4 - 5 - 1 ... always !

The only thing I change is arrows, or kind of pressure, etc ... and some of this only during the game.

    And ... I'm on level 22 with 19 titles.

just lost a match vs the 4-5-1 V formation ...he switched to 4-1-3W-1-1
i thought it was a good idea to play 3N-2 (DL DR)-2-1-2 but didnt really work, exchanged my acm for a dcm and played long passing..
in the end played 3-5-2 V and scored ateast one goal... against his change to 4-4-2

anyone got like an asymmetric formation that works well vs stronger opponents that play 4-5-1??
since i think i can't beat him the normal way... his Quality is "only" 4 higher than mine
