At the end of the day, formations and tactics get put in a different category of instructions than the rest of the game. I can understand they cant give answers as to formations and tactics as they should vary based on your opponent, but the rest of the game, such as morale and ratings, injuries etc, dont have much to do with opponents and more to do with managerial and troll engine decisions. That is how I divide them. So I would still say what they mention is not relevent to this particular topic.
Regardless of their intention, it is clear to me that they dont give a **** about giving out any information on this game. And when they do, its **** we already know. Look at the article they put out a while ago about Special Abilities. They have not given us ANY new information about this game that will improve gameplay. I dont know what their reasons for this are, but I can only speculate that they dont really care -----> look at my quote from their own "ask the devs" where they say waiting for approval is not the appropriate way to fix this issue - it is clear from that quote that they have only one thing on their minds = profit. We all know why they like friendlies: injuries and work out players = red and green boosters respectively.
And I remember reading somewhere that they are thinking of making friendlies where your players dont actually get injured, lose condition, or gain skill. If that is their "plan A" solution to this issue, I am all for it. I could give a **** if 35 people forced unwanted friendlies on me if it meant f!@k-all in terms of injuries and condition. Go ahead, friendly with me until you are sick with silliness, but only if that is their solution. Otherwise the ONLY other solution to this issue is to allow a manager to deny an incoming friendly BEFORE it is played.
I disagree completely. They would have come up with some lame excuse that its too complicated for our mortal minds to even imagine.
I agree with their explanation that formation and tactics are all depending on your opponent, but what I dont like about it is that they dont ever explain ORDERS. I believe a forum member came up with the tutorial on orders. If someone has the official word on ORDERS from Nordeus, then please post here. If they were to explain them, formally, then we would be able to play this game properly and not have to guess what they mean. Most of them are obvious, but we dont know the real difference between attacking and hard attacking - does it put everyone forward a notch, including the GK on corners? What exactly does it do? I dont want a forum member telling me what they do, I want a Dev or management to tell me. I would love an official instruction manual, published by Nordeus. Do you know how many questions would be answered, how many posts would disappear?
anyways, I just get carried away because of the condescending attitude shown by Nordeus towards their "customers".

They can afford laser surgery. I did. what they need is a few human sacrifices...I know where we can start....
i`v only been narrowly wide twice with wife and ended up with two teenage daughter`s, still love um even though they have made me go bald one day i`l hit and bingo
IMO, they shouldn't. There's a simple way here to have a general guide on formation and tactics, that will help you to manage your team against any opponent. That's really what was asked in the question.
An example is, they could explain to us, what do arrows really do? Or how do players affect their surrounding area on the pitch ? Do a player affect an opponent player "diagonal" to his position, just like one right in front of him? Or right in his back? How does possession and different stats work in a match ? Just so we can answer question like, how can an opponent only have 20% possession and yet have more passes, more corners, etc... than me? I could go on with those questions, and they are all part of formation and tactics.
And most of them can be answered just with a simple guide, explaining a bit more how the game works.
There's no difference between this type of info and other concerning rating, morale, etc... at the end of the day, they all go in the same bucket, as they contribute in how well you do on the pitch.
Sure, rating, morale, condition, etc... could be more straightforwards, but not necessarily harder to grasp, or explain, and so there shouldn't be any significant distinction between them. They are all part of one bigger thing called "management".
That would be nice. I play Football Champions as well, and that's exactly how friendlies work in that game, and everyone is happy with that, : )And I remember reading somewhere that they are thinking of making friendlies where your players dont actually get injured, lose condition, or gain skill. Well, I guess it's really a matter of opinion, : )I disagree completely. They would have come up with some lame excuse that its too complicated for our mortal minds to even imagine.
I agree with their explanation that formation and tactics are all depending on your opponent, but what I dont like about it is that they dont ever explain ORDERS.
If one sees Formation, tactics, rating, morale, and all the rest, as part of one same thing, necessary to better your game as much as possible on the pitch, then, their answer should ALWAYS be the same as the one concerning Formations and tactics, since the rest are really only different parts of one bigger thing, which isn't hard or tedious to explain if you actually "know" the answers.
I could write myself, a very clear and simple guide about Formation, Tactic, and all the other stuff, if I actually "had" the info about how they work.
You don't have to tell people how they have to manage every single match... that's not what I'm asking, and on that, I agree totally with you -- it would be a waste of time and an impossible task.
However, you can tell them the rules (like those examples I gave above; how arrows works, player influence on the pitch, etc...) And there's really nothing complicated to that bit.

No worries there, : ) I can understand totally ! It's very much like talking to a very stubborn tree.anyways, I just get carried away because of the condescending attitude shown by Nordeus towards their "customers".
